If you look closely at that selfie you can see a patch of grass noticeably different to the rest. This can mean only one thing and one thing only, a shallow grave has been dug and the turf replaced. @themetpolice please have a look at this

I haven’t really been following the football properly, is this what happened to Ben Nelson?

Do you reckon Wout would refuse to play if we put a Hippo up front when the January window opens?

You in the Sycamores? 😂

I was more concerned about an unhinged woman posting a picture of a large tree with a bench nearby.

Got me looking around for a rope!

So except for the multiple examples of bad attitude towards teammates, bad attitude towards fans and bad attitude towards the club, you think there's a lack of evidence of him having a bad attitude?

:D

It's true we never really know what happens behind the scenes, but I've got a pretty decent bellend-radar.

For the avoidance of doubt, I reckon Wout Faes is one.

Well that's my point - the idea that he has a bad attitude/big ego seems to be based on pretty poor evidence and no hard sources. No one can ever come up with anything.

FWIW I don't think he's a good player and he's clearly not been a great player for us - but I don't know why so many people seem to think they can determine what goes on between the ears of a player, purely from watching them play. Someone else was writing some proper 'fan fic' of what Harry Winks is thinking and feeling in another thread.

The notion of him having a bad attitude is largely based on his hairstyle coupled with him playing in a very very poor period for us.

Again, this is my point though....

I think it’s because it’s abundantly clear he is arrogant and seems to think he’s the bollocks.

He is arrogant - based on what? And what is arrogance in this context? Was Mahrez not arrogant? Was Vardy not arrogant?

He thinks he is the bollocks - again, based on what? How can you know what he is thinking?

Quote

But faes has always come across that he thinks he’s our best defender,

What does 'thinks he's our best defender' look like, in practice, on the pitch? Is there a particular way of playing or kicking the ball that says "I think I'm the best defender"?

id bet almost anything that he takes absolutely no accountability for where we are and the results we get.

How do you know!?

For clarity - I'm not trying to defend Faes - I don't think he's a good player for us and I think it's clear that the relationship between him and the fans is dead and irreparable. I'm just wary of declarative statements that seem to think they know what's going on inside someone's head when we've got literally no idea and watching from the stands gives us no scope to do so.

He's become a lightning rod for criticism; a scape goat. Why not just criticise his football, rather than cooking up some imagined stories about what he thinks and feels?

When he does press after a draw or loss and is asked about our poor defending he very quickly talks about us not taking our chances. He makes mistakes that cost us goals and then frequently visibly blames others. It’s difficult to prove someone is unwilling to take accountability from just the snippets we get, but it’s not like it’s just a FoxesTalkers invention either.

Could you tell Wout he's ****ing shit?

Simple question - if he was/is any good why is it no-one wants to buy him ? I get the wages stuff but if you really want such a "good" player I'm sure a deal could be made. However the tumbleweed rolling down the corridors of the KP indicate he is what most of us think he is - a vastly over-rated, arrogant clown.

Need to get Nelson, Souttar, and Okoli all fit so we can get bomb Faes down to 5th choice - maybe even 6th choice behind Skipp

I would hope we would put him down into the under 21s but I think that would be unfair on the youth players

We don’t know any of the players personally mate, but you pick up on things from interviews, body language and what we see of the attitude. There’s always a bit of arrongance from top players but they tend to have  earnt  that. Usually when you’ve been crap for a few years you can spot it, you almost feel bad for them. It’s just general human analysis. I don’t think you need to have someone directly come and say I’m too good for this club to work that out.

a great example would be stephy. He’s clearly got an arrogance to him and when he’s doing well, boy is he going to let the world know….. but when things weren’t going well for him, he dropped that act very quickly And you could see it was bothering him that he wasn’t performing. That’s what you expect to see. Not someone who looks completely unfazed after they are responsible for another car crash.

maybe it’s all an exterior shell to protect him mentally…. But if that’s the case, he could do with dropping a bit of that and showing a little vulnerability and being a bit accountable. I see plenty of our players come out and say “we weren’t good enough, we need to do better” have you ever seen that from him? I’m not saying it doesn’t exist but I’ve not personally seen any kind of redeeming qualities from him. The guy just seems a tw@

Faes maybe contracted till 2027, but if and the team carry on like this, then he'll be in league 1. A player that has played for Belgium national team, I doubt that would be acceptable. If he wants a move, he needs to pull his socks up and show some passion and actually look like he cares rather than making too many mistakes and blame everyone around him. Change his body language.

He has been in a team that was relegated twice from the prem, and now 15th in the Championship. Certainly not the only cause but is one of few with a frustrating attitude.

I know it's unlikely but I'd love it if we froze him out for the whole of December. That might give him the motivation to fvck off. Especially as (unbelievably) he's still on the periphery of the Belgium squad.
