Lose to Forest and we are cast adrift at the foot of the table but more than that any remaining confidence in our ability to turn it around with the present set up would for me be gone. Imagine Forest last season knocking us out of the Cup and this season virtually helping to resign us to Relegation. Toxic atmosphere would be an understatement.

Oh the KP will be a vipers nest if we lose to Forest.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some aggro after the game either

Staggers me how long we're sticking with him yet we all know if we beat Forest (Or any of the following games due to 'giving him more time'), one game, that one win will give him another month+ more 'credit in the bank' - the way the club is being ran I think he's one win away from securing a lifetime contract - When that next win is coming who knows but i'm fairly sure the club are willing to wait aslong as it takes.

There’s a chance they’ve already made up their mind regardless of the forest game.

If this was 6 months ago I could buy us giving him ‘one more game’ but we’ve had that scenario too many times for it to be real now.

Is it because they think he will get lucky? Of course they don't. They just do not want to pay him.

In the past whenever he's been under pressure (which from a fan point of view has probably been alot more than certain fans/the club allow themselves to think, you know who you are) it's been a mixed of 'luck' and having to adapt/change his 'philosophy' to get the best out of the players/shithouse a win.

This time is different, he's not bothered, he's been allowed to get away without feeling and tough pressure from the majority of fans or club (ever), he doesn't want to be here and knows he'll be compensated well should he be pushed (Which it seems to the club have no intention of), he doesn't need to 'luck' out this time, he doesn't need to change his philosophy or his 'way of playing football' this time.

The sickening part of seeing the club allow all this to happen is as I say whenever that illusive win comes it'll give then an excuse to have the opinion of this is an upturn, we need to give him X amount more games given how long they've stuck with him currently.

I’ll be going down to watch them play Forest but with nothing like the same excitement or anticipation that I should have for this long-awaited Premier League derby.

And it’s not because of where we are in the table. It’s because I hate what Rodgers has done/is doing to this team and is still being allowed to get away with it. If Rodgers had been sacked, I’d be going to the game overloaded with enthusiasm.

I just feel really sad and depressed that he is still here. Because I know, as everyone else does (the players included) that he is not capable of - or even interested in - turning this around.

Mmmmmm. Hard one to answer that, as none of us have the luxury of being able to canvas the players for an actual answer. But if we go by the fact that the team seems to be arguing on pitch a lot more, seem quite lack luster in performance, look a bit clueless and without direction, I would hazzard a pure guess that  the players aren't too happy with their current working environment and wouldn't be too upset to see Rodgers sacked purely to see if the grass is greener under a different manager. If what I have listed was happening to me, I know I would....

English is presumably not your first language so, as usual, I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but if it's just more 'holier than thou' pontificating, can I suggest that you make your own judgments and - based on what I see with my own eyes (not, as you appear to suggest, the second-hand opinions of others) - I'll make mine?

Fair enough? Happy with that?

We all want to win this regardless, the players will know the importance of this match, this will be a good test of players determination to win at all costs, if we lose, and lose badly, it will, in no uncertain terms inform the Board / owners everything they need to know to make the right decision...

Yes we got thumped by them before, and some wanted a change then, and rightly so imo, but if it happens again, in that fashion he wont remains manager, surely...

That about sums it up. No further comment needed 😂

This is the part that I still don’t fully comprehend.

For me, it’s gotten so bad that literally any other football person at the club (other than BR’s own staff) would do better. Whether BR is sacked or not, we still have to pay him for the duration of his contract and this will already have been accounted for. So the situation is pay him and almost certainly go down, or pay him and improve your chances of staying up. From every perspective, including a financial one, the latter option seems most prudent yet here we are twiddling our thumbs praying for the Mother of all comebacks.

Even if the club want to go out and appoint another manager, the extra few million to do that is worth it considering where we would be financially if relegated. This is why I can no longer buy the excuse that it’s all down to finances. Fair enough if we were languishing in mid table but the cost of not sacking is much bigger given the threat of relegation.

...I am going by my 10 games 10 points theory!!!

I can't get too angry until the end of the game and there is little point in losing it, as all the false rumours of his imminent dismissals have come and gone.

So, 9 points from 3 games required, anything but a win against Forest will see him go (I hope).
