I don't get his victim mentality. He was supposed to be running for charity and was just after free use of cars and watches. 

 

You have to laugh at Ian moaning about how no one backed him and just seen it as their opportunity to progress. If there is anyone in the world who'd have done the exact same, it is him.

My god I have not missed hearing Matty Fryatts post match summaries.

 

Surely they can get someone better than him.

 

Or at least tell him to speak with more enthusiasm and not state the obvious.

I think it should kind of be a rule that if you go and play for Forest you are revoked of being in the Leicester brotherhood

Always switch off if Barraclough is on the WYS podcast. He's just not objective and doesn't really give any kind of constructive critique or analysis of performances. Piper is way better.

That Barraclough is bloody dull on the podcasts and i have no idea why they have him on. Won't have anything negative said about the club.

He’s in the coaching game. Can’t be seen to criticise when you make your living there. Can’t blame him but not a good guest in that case

I like listening to Matt Piper on the after-match podcast. I know he’s not on every game now, but seems like a fair while since he’s been on and it’s not the same without him.

Anyone know if he’s just taking a break or finished?

He didn't want to do every single game and podcast like he did in other years. He was going to leave all together but decided to let others step in now and then. 

 

Don't think he's gone completely. Which is good because he's miles better than any other pundit we have on local radio.

Pipes is by the far the best expert on Radio Leicester footy coverage. He’s sorely missed on there at the moment. He speaks directly and with honesty and like with the BSLB podcast he genuinely helps me process the post games mentally, particularly when the results are bad. Hope he’s back soon.

Matt Heath is the best of the Piper stand-ins. Knowledgeable and reasonably articulate.

 

Stowell is bland, won't say anything critical about the club. Fryatt is abysmal. How can someone use so many words while saying so little.

In a snippet I heard of Stowell in commentary a few weeks ago he described Luke Thomas as "a lovely lad but lacking a bit up top"!

I absolutely agree although it may be because I more or less agree with everything Pipes says.

I once waited for Vardy after a match to get a shirt signed, Luke literally came out with slobber around his face lol 

 

Seems a nice guy but I definitely get the impression he’s not the brightest.
