That’s my biggest problem with VAR, if the TV director had played three or four replays of that stamp, would it have been checked? Because they just did the one and moved on to an innocuous foul, did that influence them?

Uruguay deserve the lead and the 2nd goal was very good build up and finish bt De Arraesceta. He should have played from the start and perhaps Uruguay would have had more points. 

 

But then again, he should have been sent off for the stamp. Not sure how/why VAR missed that or chose to ignore it...

I want Ghana to win coz Leicester player, but they're not going to. Uruguay are excellent value, they're hilarious. Like a comedy stereotype of a South American team from the 1970s. Great fun. Don't know why everyone's getting all knicker-twisted about them. What more do you want from football than some good play and some pantomime villains? I'm starting to hope they go all the way!
