Last one before the World Cup, would be great to come away with something from this. Would revert back to the side we’ve been playing in the league rather than rush Evans or Ndidi back who need to win back their places.

                           Ward

Castagne - Amartey - Faes - Thomas

       Tielemans - Soumaré - KDH

     Maddison   -   Daka   -   Barnes

Same team that beat Everton - Let’s have a win.

I went  to Upton Park countless times and watched us always come back with nothing.  Maybe once when Darren Eadie scored.

I think we’ve done better at the London stadium, but so many miserable trips make this a fixture I always want to win.

Im going for a 2-0 win - Maddison with a worldie after being left out of the England squad.

...first thing, thanks for putting up the time and date!!!

Not sure we will attempt to use Vardy, but a Tuesday night game will leave him a good time to recover.

Didn’t mean Vards - force of habit!! Personally would start Daka

Tactically schooled by them in recent memory bar last season's home game.

They will let us have the ball and then try to go direct/counter when we lose the ball. The thing is I question how hard teams will work this weekend. A point for both teams probably keeps them out of the bottom 3 for the break

You'd expect Thomas to come in for this, but I get the feeling we're gonna see the same centre back pairing as last night (Faes and Evans) with Amartey shuffled out to RB and Timmy on the left.

Would be typical of Rodgers to make 3 changes to a back line that has done well recently when he could just make one. Not a big fan of Thomas but it should be him for Justin, if he isn't fit.

Evans and Faes will probably be the first choice pairing at some point but Amartey has earnt his place so should keep it for this game.

Unchanged otherwise.

Maybe...Faes & Amartey,then Evans Castagna & Thomas..

This is our last game for awhile,so selection through whole team does not have to be concerned with tiredness, nursing or rotation. Unless he says No Evans,we want to give him a full recovery period...

Even contradicting an earlier post..

Start Vardy, full pull for 55-60 minutes then sub Daka...

If not Thomas to replace JJ then still don't want to disrupt back line too much? Would Albrighton at RB with Tim on left work?

...this season it seems has not really got going and teams are going through the motions!!!

West Ham have dropped their levels this season as have the majority of clubs,  as I suspect the World Cup is dictating managers and players thoughts.

I think normal services will resume after the World Cup, but at the moment they are just happy to get to the break in one piece.

Hate to say it given we’ve actually worked out a decent defensive shape recently, but with JJ out it almost has to be this. Fear matching them tactically though we’ll be bullied like we always are going there recently.

Marginal loss incoming

Yes, spot on for me too.

They really ain't all that but they are better than the teams we've beaten this season. This will be a good test to see where we're at. Maintain the levels we've set recently and I think we're capable of a draw at the very least

This is what I would go for I think.
