Second goal killed them, still a more challenging game than the group stage but next up is the real deal.

They’re not great. Only hope they had was to try and get in behind…. 
 

The issue will come if Southgate approaches France in the same manner…. That will be a shock to the system considering the ease of which most of Englands games have been.

Yes. In a way I would have preferred a slightly tougher test. But it does mean we can rest our key players - like Kane. Oh hang on.

He'll still train, just not any match fitness which he will get when he returns

More likely to be up to speed. He’ll have trained, not played. He’ll be fine.
