Bring him home!

He would have been a fab loans manager as well with him naturally taking on that nurturing type role of the young players (although of course very happy that Huth is back).

AK talking to Piper in his podcast, says he hopes to come back to the KP in a Coaching role in the near future.  Sounds like Rodgers would consider that.

Will make a great coach.  Still think he will be a manager one day.  Hopefully becomes a successful Leicester manager.  Would be brilliant to have an ex-youth player, who was a part of 3 different division-winning campaigns, to come and manage us down the line.

He does the first team now with Bristol City, so not sure he would fancy dropping to youth coach level.

I knew he was coaching there but also thought it was with the youth teams. I imagine he's learning a lot from NP.

Why will he be a great coach?

He does actually have a coaching contract with Bristol City at present too, so he might not be in a rush to return.

Be more than happy to have him back though, would be interested to see how he would run the U18's or 21's as an example.

So he’ll have his own tactical ideas but there’s so much he can learn from Nigel… just how to interact with the players from a manager’s perspective and how to get respect as a manager are invaluable lessons to learn.
