That is true I mean none of the so called big teams have been tested yet. That's my problem with the seeding system it means in the group stages the bigger nations get an guaranteed route to knock out. With the exception of Germany.

I think we're looking at two of the strongest well balanced squads left in the tournament. It's annoying because the game has so much potential but Southgate and Deschamps will do everything they can to keep the game as "safe" and dull as possible

They'll probably look at the team from the last game so it will be Foden and rightly so. If Foden was playing for another country he would be utilised correctly and people would be calling him one of the best players in the world. Thats how good he is

I was thinking about this and I think even without Mbappe it's very tough. Giroud's had a very good tournament and usually turns up for France, Griezmann's playing well, Dembele looks dangerous. I'd say they've looked a bit better than England but that's probably what I expect as I think their squad is better.

It's a tough one to pick. Like you say, I think France have the edge. We probably have the upper hand in midfield due to N'golo not being available. They're probably a bit better in terms of depth in defence and attack, but there's not much in it.

 

Both teams are capable of scoring out of nothing. I can see most of the play being in the middle third with both teams taking it in turns to get 11 men behind the ball.

Kante isn't what he was to be honest but tend to agree. Lots of France's side being underestimated. They haven't looked without their faults but the bulk of comments you read when England are playing aren't exactly complimentary, but it all seems to go out the window for some reason.

 

France are the favourites for me. Their side is decent. Can see both managers going a bit more conservative than they have done though.

We need to get our midfield 3 and attacking 3 absolutely spot on and we have a chance. Bellingham is better than any of their midfielders and Foden is a superstar.

 

If we stand any chance of winning then Bellingham will need to run the show which he seems to have the mentality to do, which is so rare for an England player.

Sure, if Bellingham runs the show in midfield and if Foden makes a superstar performance we could win but France will use every dirty trick to sabotage us plus they have world class quality themselves.
