Agreed, it feels like the FA Cup final did to me. I've been trying to visualise a convincing France win in my head all week so I'm not too disappointed when it happens.

Mbappe will need looking after but they have Griezmann too who has been very good. So yes we need to ensure we don’t just try to keep Mbappe quiet. We certainly need our defence and rice on top of their games, especially Walker and Maguire

Agree with keeping Mbape quiet but that man Giroud has an uncanny talent for getting on the end of anything that drops in the box and he’s bloody lethal too!

Mainly about the wedding I’m at tonight having a TV

 

 

There are a lot of parallels with Rodgers and Southgate. Their worst footballing trait (Southgate doesn’t have non footballing flaws really) is them being too cautious 

 

Lets have a line up that gives France something to worry about rather than us worrying about what France can do

 

If we’re going to sit back tonight and try to suss France out, we’ll lose. 
 

If we take the game by the scruff of the neck early on then we will win.

I am so nervous now, but also so excited. I would love us to beat the French but also see how well we can play against a tough side. 

 

This is a big big test for us and will most likely define my mood for the rest of the weekend

The way I see it, if we turn up tonight and everyone plays an 8 out of 10 game we win. We are a better side, we just struggle against the really big boys because Southgate bottles it and plays defensive all the time.

France (supporters) thinking the same thing no doubt. Great motivation for both teams. I shan't be watching. Of all the ties in the quarters, it's the one I was least interested in. Winner is much of a muchness in my book.
