France have been awful. 
 

They struggled to beat an English team that had the tactical aptitude of a dead fish. 
 

Now they’re playing a decent team, they’ve folded. 
 

Deschamps is a French Southgate.

Fourth penalty goal scored by Messi out of his six this WC. Sorry, but that doesn’t scream “Golden Boot” to me. Argies also way out front in pens awarded in the tournament in spite (or more likely because of) all their bitching to the refs.

outplayed France and went out  after missing a penalty. Can’t blame Southgate for that.
