...just for information!!!

Seen him play at seagrave for the under 10's a while back. Does tricks constantly while his dad shouts instructions at him. Clearly talented when it comes to the tricks but didn't seem interested in much else. His dad knows better than all the coaching staff put together by the sound of him.

Under 10s a while back, it wasn’t even built then 😂😂😂

So many parents like that - biggest barrier to a talented kid making it !

Thanks.

1) Please for the love of dog.. stop showing the tackle assault

2) Whole lotta Nike on show there... assumed Addidas wouldve stitched it up by way of the club?... not sure how personal sponsorship works?

3) Did he put the milk in BEFORE the water... Alves OUT!

What a great mini documentary, comes across as a real level headed and humble lad who just wants to play football, really hope he get his chance under Maresca this season, as I think he could have a massive future ahead of him, would be great to see him push on 2nd half of the season and establish himself in as a regular in the 1st team matchday  squad.

1. Alves' team put the video together so i assume he's ok with it.

2. He's signed a long term deal with Nike which demonstrates how much they rate him.....think Caden Voice can only get a discount with stone island thus far.

3. Fair point.

What a bloody nice lad he comes across as there, really hope we get a nice 3rd round draw at home and he can get some proper minutes again.

Yes he seems very mature, grounded and importantly still hungry for success.  That will definitely help him get back to where he should and can be. As a Groby lad myself I’m especially keen to see him succeed and fulfil his massive potential.

Great video that, forgot just how horrific the challenge (can't even call it that) was on him. After ref had already blown his whistle too.

One day soon we will see this lad randomly appear on the teamsheet and it will be such a positive feeling for us all. He's got serious talent, and obvious mental strength. Pray that the worst of his injury is over.

Glad to see he’s back l and hopefully we see him make an impact on the first team in the coming weeks.

Poor from Wolves to have given the thug who did it a pro contract. Given by all accounts, he intended to do what he did and had no remorse, he’s liable to do it again as he clearly has never been taught to understand right from wrong. Next time he might actually end a career.

I’d hope if we had someone like that, we’d have shown more class than Wolves and cut our losses and let them go and make their own way.

Karma will be for Alves’ career to take off and for Voice to end up trialing off into non league and having to actually work to make a living!

We wouldn’t have done if we saw any promise in the player, as Wolves clearly do in Voice. No club would.

If anyone on here has suffered a complete ACL rupture and meniscus damage you’ll know the seriousness of the injury. To replace the torn ligament another surgery is required usually from the hamstring to use as the new ligament. Surgeons also have to go in and clean up all the scarring in the meniscus. Let’s just say your knee is very angry after this much invasive trauma! Seeing alvez’s knee brings back some bad memories for me. Yeh it really does look like a swollen hot potatoe. That swelling does not go down easily despite all the drugs and cold therapy. The crutches, the exercises, hopping to the toilet on 1 leg or taking showers sitting on a still , the braces it’s tough stuff. Mentally you suffer bouts of depression where you wonder if you will ever walk again let alone run and play comp soccer. It’s a slow arduous process and you need support from everyone around you to get thru it. Not a journey i recommend to anyone.

young Alvez is progressing well and I hope he rediscovers the magic he had in his feet. He’s fiercely ambitious and that’s important if he’s gonna make it into the 1st team. I wish him the very best of luck in making his come back - Lester needs players like him coming thru.

Been through it myself and my leg will never be the same as a result of complications.

Incredible mindset from Alves to look and sound as healthy as he does.

I don’t doubt it. As I say, I’d like to think so but I agree with what you say. Accidents happen, but this guy is a liability.

Voice got a red card for England U18s on his debut. Seems a nice lad.

really hope he's ready for the bench tomorrow

I very much doubt he’ll be involved, he’s only bit part with the seniors during training currently, but Enzo thinks a lot of him so the future could look good but I wouldn’t expect him to be involved anytime soon.
