Game was there for the taking today. Maddison plays and we win that. Some positives there but still need some big business in January to make sure this season isn't a struggle

We showed much more intent than vs Newcastle, and showed flickers of movement. Perez had a pretty good game I thought. 

That said - I can't remember us testing Alisson. We desperately need Maddison back, and (still) a right winger who can run towards goal!

If Barnes doesn't have the one-two he has nothing. Vardy is an expert at looking like he's pressing when he isn't and iheanacho was abysmal when he came on. 

 

Thought Ndidi and Soumare played well. Thomas and KDH good too. 

 

People will say we've played well tonight but could easily have lost heavily.

I wanted an improved performance from the Newcastle game and some hunger and desire. We got that tonight. We set up well, battled hard and got in front. 
 

But by **** did we piss that up the wall. Faes has been largely brilliant since he came in but those mistakes cannot happen at PL level. Ballsed up a great team performance.

I don't think anyone expected us to be in the game tonight before kick off , it's unbelievable we don't have anything to show for it, but can't be disappointed on the effect we put in, hopefully we can take the positives into the Fulham game next week
