I've said for a while that we needed more players in the Dewsbury-Hall model, with an engine and desire to get around the pitch, he was absolutely superb again today.

I don't agree with the comments about him needing to improve on the ball, his passing and delivery was excellent again, he actually tripped up in the 1st half when free down the wing it wasn't a poor pass like I think most assumed. 

 

The most important thing is that he has a willingness, not just to run, but to overlap and get involved....He's brave and wants to try and make things happen. Thomas badly needs a loan, and I think the criticism is unfair, but Kristiansen is miles ahead and reminds me of Fuchs but with a turn of pace.

The flash thing is to be that well-rounded at 20 years old. I'll get hounded out for saying this, but the player he reminds me of is Paolo Maldini when he broke through for AC Milan, playing left back for their Champions League all-star team. Maldini wasn't someone who lit up the game by running past players or bangng it in from 20 yards, but he stood out because he was consistent, assured and played like a player who was 28, not 18.

 

He's only had 3 games, but this guy looks like a star.

Yeah I think there is a lot more to come from that combination of barnes and Victor. Couple of times it didn’t quite work but when it clicked we looked so much better. No surprise that Barnes is playing better too. Those overlaps and the support Victor provides opens up channels for Harvey to attack and run into. Our left side looked our most potent it has for a long time today. I’m quite excited to see where this goes.
