If we had signed him for £12 million, then OK but the fee was scandalous and I have no idea what the club thought they were buying for that amount. 

 

Thanks for the FA Cup contribution and maybe a different manager would have not forced him on the right so much, but he was never going to be a 30 million pound player for us. At that price, he should have been one of our best players, yet he has rarely been good enough to even start.

Two things that stood out for me with Perez:

 

1) was his rare ability to launch a ball high over the bar from any distance (should have took corners where we struggle to get it airborne) 

 

2) how many times he was absent from matchday squads due to being ill. Reminded me of a normal office worker throwing 5-6 sickies a year. Always used to amuse me 😂😂😂

They be no transfer fee he has 6 month left on contract

30 mil or 5 mil he's been one of our weakest players since his signing. Albrighton had that run of 5 games in 20/21 where he was our best player, Mendy was one of our best performers at the start of 20/21. Perez has never had a run of games where he was a standout performer for us.

Very odd player, part of our strongest 11 for a while but really frustrating. Constantly wondered how he became a footballer, then he'd do something good which would confuse me.
