Popular Post Sampson Posted 31 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 January 2023 (edited) Obviously not the player he once was, but I thought he’d done well when he got back into the side the past couple of games. Obviously scored vs Brighton and should’ve had an assist vs Forest after putting a beautiful ball through to put a chance on a plate for Barnes which he somehow missed. Still one of the best players we’ve ever had. Maybe not in terms of pure talent, but there were years where we’d always look a much better side with him in and his work rate and pressing was amongst the best in the country and really helped put us on the front foot in games. And his goals vs Sevilla and Copenhagen will surely go down as 2 of the most legendary goals in the club’s history. Will be shame if that’s it for him in a Leicester shirt and he just leaves without a proper send off like Kasper. Edited 31 January 2023 by Sampson 7

Hopefully they will return to the club after they have retired and get a good reception.
