foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 We should not be selling, especially if we aren’t signing a needed replacement

If they wanted to keep hold of him then they would have. I never expected it to be Albrighton to go but if Cags, Praet, Vesti, Bertrand haven't moved on then something had to give.

lifted*fox Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 big albrighton fan and sad to see him go but i think some people are being a bit ott here. i mean, he doesn't actually feature THAT much and if he wants to go to get regular football then surely we owe him that? 2
Popular Post Foxes BC Posted 31 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 31 January 2023 Says a lot about Albrighton's professionalism when he wants game time and yet Vestegaard and Soyuncu are happy to just get the money. A real shame. 11
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 Just now, Tuna said: Ricardo can cover at right wing as well when fit! He isn’t a right winger - it’s very different to full back Even right wing back is a struggle for Ricky - he needs to explode forwards at pace where he comes from deep

coolhandfox Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 He's played 233 minutes in the first 20 games which is 2.5 games. Perez has played 379 minutes in the first 20 games which 4.2 games. In a season when we have had plenty of injuries, not sure this is a massive blow to the squad as some think.

A real shame. Harsh on Farquaad. He would get out the first chance he gets, and in his case, I'd completely understand.
cityfanlee23 Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 Harrison staying at leeds confirmed by sky, Leicester what the actual **** are you doing
UHDrive Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 Out of all the players we want gone we let Albrighton go!? Now we are a winger down too.
Clever Fox Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 He's been a great servant who we got on a free transfer. He'll always be a legend and member of our league winning team. I wish him well for the rest of his career. 1
Hitesh Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 We'll be fine...Tete, Madders, Praet and Ricky P can all play on that side. 1
Jon the Hat Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 A sad day, but if wants to play he deserves it.

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 If Albrighton has had to go to balance any books then it’s just the next in the long line of examples of horrendous management of the club. 3
FosseSpark Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 If we let two right sided players go, including a captain, and bring in 1 then we deserve everything we get. Unless we intend to 100% play 343 for the rest of the decade.
Kierzz Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 Was Ricky P in the named in the squad for the league prior to January? Maybe he's taken Albrighton's place...
Supergray22 Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 He owes us nothing and has given us so much over the years. Farewell Marc and good luck in everything you do. .
UHDrive Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 4 minutes ago, Hitesh said: We'll be fine...Tete, Madders, Praet and Ricky P can all play on that side. Tete is the only out and out winger. We need madders centrally. RP can't play as a winger in a back 4 fullback and Praet doesn't have the pace and strength. It's a big issue for me.
stu Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 This feels like when the club let Kasper leave the week before the season started. We all know how that went for us. What are we playing at? 1
lee7 Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 Watch Albrighton go on loan and then Tete get injured within a few days!
STUHILL Posted 31 January 2023 Posted 31 January 2023 3 minutes ago, Hitesh said: We'll be fine...Tete, Madders, Praet and Ricky P can all play on that side. Madders, Praet and Ricky P struggle with injuries and Tete is completely untested in the Premier League. It's a risk. Should have kept Mark and let him go in the summer with our blessings. We are in a relegation battle and Albrighton is an experienced and calm head, who can also still contribute on his day. I think letting him go was a bit foolish considering our situation. Just have to hope those 4 stay fit and Tete settles straight away.
