This is not the clubs decision apparently (as in we don't want him to go)

The club have stopped plenty of transfers happening, Praet in the summer being one of them. If they wanted to keep hold of him then they would have.

I never expected it to be Albrighton to go but if Cags, Praet, Vesti, Bertrand haven't moved on then something had to give.

Still confident of the 4th signing?

Nope.

Would be the deadline day best kept secret if they announce something now, no name has come my way tonight.

big albrighton fan and sad to see him go but i think some people are being a bit ott here.

i mean, he doesn't actually feature THAT much and if he wants to go to get regular football then surely we owe him that?

Ricardo can cover at right wing as well when fit!

He isn’t a right winger  - it’s very different to full back

Even right wing back is a struggle for Ricky - he needs to explode forwards at pace where he comes from deep

Says a lot about Albrighton's professionalism when he wants game time and yet Vestegaard and Soyuncu are happy to just get the money. A real shame.

Not sure you can be giving Cags that label tbh

He's played 233 minutes in the first 20 games which is 2.5 games.

Perez has played 379 minutes in the first 20 games which 4.2 games.

In a season when we have had plenty of injuries, not sure this is a massive blow to the squad as some think.

Harsh on Farquaad. He would get out the first chance he gets, and in his case, I'd completely understand.

We'll be fine...Tete, Madders, Praet and Ricky P can all play on that side.

You've used a lot of artistic licence there.

Praet doesn't want to be here and plays like it

Ricky is, very sadly, a permanent crock

If we let two right sided players go, including a captain, and bring in 1 then we deserve everything we get.

Unless we intend to 100% play 343 for the rest of the decade.

Tete is the only out and out winger. We need madders centrally. RP can't play as a winger in a back 4 fullback and Praet doesn't have the pace and strength. It's a big issue for me.

This feels like when the club let Kasper leave the week before the season started. We all know how that went for us.

What are we playing at?

Madders, Praet and Ricky P struggle with injuries and Tete is completely untested in the Premier League.

It's a risk. Should have kept Mark and let him go in the summer with our blessings. We are in a relegation battle and Albrighton is an experienced and calm head, who can also still contribute on his day.

I think letting him go was a bit foolish considering our situation. Just have to hope those 4 stay fit and Tete settles straight away.
