We'll be fine...Tete, Madders, Praet and Ricky P can all play on that side.

Ricky P can't even play one game and Madders isn't great on the wing

The club are actually taking the p**s with this Albrighton deserves a much better send off

Rodgers has been complain about lack of attaking options but gets rid of 2

If we don't replace him I genuinely think this turns what has been a positive window into a bad one

Getting hopes up just to crush them again

I’d feel a little more relaxed in Praet was readily available week in week out but he just doesn’t seem to be and there’s so little pressure on Barnes to keep at the top of his game with no depth of competition since Lookman left.

Says a lot about Albrighton's professionalism when he wants game time and yet Vestegaard and Soyuncu are happy to just get the money. A real shame.

I agree but also he’s been on PL winners money for 5 years. He’s set forever.

Sorry for being so cynical Marc. You’re one of my favourite players of all time. An absolute pro and a Leicester legend.

It’s a loan move tho isn’t it?

And praet is another leg iron.

I doubt the club will even give us a chance to say goodbye to Vardy. These are people who won the league for us ffs.

As did Kasper. The way it's going we won't get a chance to say goodbye to Vardy.

I don't like Rodgers but you can't lay the blame squarely with him here.

Makes me laugh. Nobody gave Rodgers any credit for the Christiansen or Tete signings but if a player leaves it's rodgers' fault 🤔

At least the loan thread would be little more interesting to follow than another week of poor Moore reporting that Young is on the bench yet again.

**** that actually, we probably have more senior players out on the loan at this rate than our youth prospects 🤣

Sounds like Albrighton is pushing for the move for more game time

I think Kev is a pretty limited player at this stage of his career, but it does seem odd to let him walk when we have so few options who can play across the front.  His salary being off the books is the obvious factor but he can’t be making what guys like Vardy and Youri are.  Even Perez.

They did say that players would have to go out to bring others in so without Albrighton/Perez going out on loan the new signings may not have been possible.

A sad day, but if wants to play he deserves it.

Yeah, I’m amazed with how patient he’s been really. Can understand his decision.

Having said that, I thought our bench has looked really depressingly uninspiring recently and it’s got worse now. Probably a big loss in the dressing room too.

This is a mistake he my have lost some pace but his work ethic and engine will never be matched an amazing player will miss him definitely one of my all time favourite players will miss you Timmy.

So he's at their training ground, etc etc but is this a done deal or not ?!  Why would WBA be tardy in announcing it?

I'm not doing its the whole operation seeming to go wrong again which is annoying me also I have high emotions about certain players Albrighton being one of them. Original post probably angrier than it needed to be

Well it doesn’t work the same both ways.

With incomings Rodgers will provide an opinion on the position he feels he needs and the recruitment team will go and find the player and the Director of Football will negotiate the deal. See his quote: “the club will tell me when any player is signed” on the Christiansen deal the other week.

However with a departure, Rodgers has more or less complete control over it bar a ridiculous fee. If he says he wants to keep a player then that player is kept unless the buying club breaks the bank and the management decide it’s too good to turn down that they’ll happily risk annoying the manager.
