Lako42 Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 The new defence is going to be under a lot of pressure based on that midfield
LCFCJohn Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I mean if we’re being really picky Ward is back in but otherwise wow, all 3 new boys and Nacho! 1
Diffco Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 This starting lineup looks too good to be true. 3 ACLs in succession to karma it out a bit
SheppyFox Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 First time in a long time, my £10 bet isn’t going on our opposition. 2

Grebfromgrebland Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I take it we won't get on their backs when the defence looks like it hasn't played together and when Victor and Souttare look tired as they haven't played for weeks. And when KDH plays crap as he's coming back from injury. 2
wardyfox86 Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I'm just look for my hat, and a knife and fork. He's started all 3!!!
majaco Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I think I have spotted some passive aggression in the thread. I like the look of the team. Will Wanya get some minutes?

Beechey Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Looks good, my only worry is the midfield and how it will operate without a “proper” DM.
Finnegan Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 The absolute maniac he's gone and done it. Not convinced by the lack of holding midfielder. Think you have to sacrifice KDH (or Tielemans if you're so inclined) for someone that's going to actually protect the back four. But it's a hell of an improvement. 3
FoxesWalk Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 (edited) We concede lots of goals even when we play more defensive players so there is a reasonable argument for just binning a CDM and creating as much as possible. Let’s see how it goes… When fit you’d think Ndidi or Soumaré come in for KDH Edited 4 February 2023 by FoxesWalk 1
Gravel Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Brendan has pulled his head bout of his arse for once. Come on!
RowlattsFox Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Can't argue too much but midfield 2 could be overrun. KdH needs to be disciplined.

Dahnsouff Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Well he has only bloody well gone and done it.

Xen Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Perfect line-up. Wonder if the plan was always to play Souttar from the start - given he's been nursing an injury lately and Amartey is suddenly nowhere to be seen, I'd imagine our hand might've been forced somewhat by illness or something. Excited to see what Tetê can do, and how well he links up with Iheanacho. Maddison central too without being required to drift wide... stuff of dreams. Bring it on
coolhandfox Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 I think 90% of foxestalk would have selected that team. Hopefully it's the start of a better run off form.
Filbert Fireworks Posted 4 February 2023 Posted 4 February 2023 Well playing all 3 and no DM. Nacho leading the line. Bold.
