Popular Post CosbehFox Posted 28 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2023 Not helped was he? Has largely a stinker, starts coming into the game, makes a superb pass in lead up to the goal. Brendan’s reaction? ‘Come on lad, you’re coming off and we are gonna ask Castagne to do your job and the job of a right back’ 5
fazzyfox Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 You can glide through Aston Villa like Torvil and Dean on steroids but can you do it on a rainy Tuesday night against a championship side

Headcase Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 (edited) Barnes vardy tete quite when a front free..i really feel that it changes when 2 up top tete had time to play that pass for the goal, barnes gets freed up he did well once 2 up top. I think tete would have more space and thrive Edited 28 February 2023 by Headcase
HybridFox Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Looked awful again today. I really worry. Maybe needs to drop to the bench to see if he can make an impact

Paninistickers Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 He's awful. The pass was sublime but it's not enough. I'll (regrettably) die on this hill, but he's not for us. I called it hard and called it first and have the posts on this thread to humiliate myself if I'm wrong. And I enjoy being wrong. but the hipsters, betting stream viewers and the wishful thinkers are all in for disappointment here. He ain't no loan like Gerry Daly or Kevin Campbell.
SystonFox Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 I’ve cancelled my Brazil flag order from Ali express 2
Itsthejoeker Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 He’s not the first player to start off great and become shite under Rodgers 2 1
Tuna Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Still too early to be writing him off, as has been said he didn't get much help and no idea why Rodgers subbed him. 1

Daggers Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 All rather predictable wasn’t it. The Rodgers Effect in action. 1

I'm no fan of Rodgers ATM, but that's too easy and far too simplistic. There's no Rodgers effect or 'been rodgered' He's isn't that good. Lyon didn't fancy him. And nor should we. 1
WoodyFox Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Amartey preferred to play a suicide pass rather than clip one down the line to him - story of the first half. Second half the introduction of Iheanacho brings him into play more, leading to him spraying it to Barnes for the goal. He then gets subbed off straight away 1
funkyrobot Posted 28 February 2023 Posted 28 February 2023 Just at the point where Tete was getting his confidence after two excellent cross field moves and passes, he gets hooked by Rodgers. 3
l444ry Posted 1 March 2023 Posted 1 March 2023 Nowhere near good enough based on his performances in the last four games. 1

Dan Posted 1 March 2023 Posted 1 March 2023 Tete has been bad, there's no getting away from it, but it's also hard to ignore the fact he's declining by the game under this coaching setup. It's funny how the one really good game he had here was when he was fresh and raw. 1

I'm not making Tete unaccountable but I'm finding it hard to write players off under this inept manager. 3
iancognito Posted 1 March 2023 Posted 1 March 2023 Needs a game where he's got Ricky overlapping him like Viktor does with Barnes. I'd love to see the stats or heatmaps of our right and left side attacks. We just don't get him the ball enough. Obsessed with overusing Barnes. 3
Hammo Posted 1 March 2023 Posted 1 March 2023 As with a lot of our players we’ll only truly know how good (or bad) he is when this destructive, restrictive idiot of a manager has gone. Which, sadly, may mean we’ll never know.
