If Barnes is out then I think we have to try a back 3 with wing backs again. Means we will have to see Amartey again but in games we generally don't have a lot more the ball he is better. Ricardo and Castagne. Mendy, KDH and Maddison. Daka and Iheanacho up front. Can't be any worse.

Part of me is tempted to put Madders on the lw, move KDH further forward and bring Ndidi alongside Mendy, but he should probably stay central.

 

So really it's Praet LW isn't it! No other option. (Never thought I'd be sat here wishing we had Jack Harrison)

It'll be a narrow scoreline on paper but Chelsea won't get out of 2nd gear.

 

Guaranteed that Mudryk gets his first goal for them as well. Clean sheets for Chilwell and Fofana.

I think we will likely draw this, might even be 0-0. Draw will be lauded by the media as 'sticking with him is the right thing to do'. Then off to Brentford to lose.....

Annoying Kristiansen is now out until after the international break as he would give us far more of an edge playing 3-4-1-2 than an out of form Castagne, weak as piss Luke Thomas or a delicately patched together Ricardo Pereira.

Tete on the left seems obvious to me. He has to be more than a one trick wonder - doesn't he?

Praet in the ten and Maddison lw is an option

No Kristiansen, No Barnes. No Tielemans i imagine. Keep Soumare off the pitch and keep KDH away from holding midfield.

 

so the below would be my team. KDH told to stay wide and get down the line. Replace him with Vardy on 60 mins.
