Devoid of any quality all over the pitch. The passing is beyond diabolical.

Castagne, KDH, Ndidi all terrible. Tete invisible. Feels like it'll be a miracle if VK sees the full 90 without getting sent off.

 

God that was painful to watch. Credit to Faes and Iversen in particular for keeping us in it, somehow.

 

Ricardo and Mendy at half time, at the minimum, please. Our midfield options are astonishingly bad with Youri out. Bodes well for next year...

On the pre match thread, I tongue in cheek suggested that a narrow defeat, giving it a go and keeping the goal difference down would be a good result.

We just made struggling, haven't won at home since God Knows When, just sacked their Manager and employed a Pensioner because they are are so awful Crystal Palace look like bleddy Barcelona.

 

Bravo.

 

We were so committed to our "Nil" score, I'm actually impressed.

Faes and Soutter can ping the balls out from the back. They but be getting told not to do that as they will pass side to side 10 times to then pass to KDH or Wilf who share one brain cell between them. FC backpass. 
 

When VK tries to get forward KDH keeps drifting close to Barnes bringing players.  
 

Why the forwards don’t even attempt to press is unbelievable.  Does Rodger’s know something pretty much every other manager doesn’t.

Other than actually conceding or getting a red card, first halves don't get much worse than this. Hopefully the Zaha injury and some kind of arse-kicking at half time might offer us a sniff of hope.

 

How anyone outside the club can think we're not going down is absolutely beyond me. Sleepwalking to relegation.

The only thing that matters is the final score. If we play total shit and win 1-0 it will do. Palace are clueless in front of goal and we are not , its the one thing in our favour.

I'd put Mendy on for Wilf who just isn't at it today, at all. That said poor from several players, only Soutter and Iversen have done reasonably well. What is Rodgers coaching here? He'll say our passing is poor not clinical, but it's been that all season....
