I’ve just heard from someone close to the club that part of the job contract for cooper stipulated that he had to positively name check rudkin in his interview. Says it all

Two ways of looking at this, first is that the club/rudkin realise the pressure is on and are trying with some positive pr to get the fans back on board or…

 

Cooper mentions KDH coming through the academy and mentions his relationship with rudkin as part of that process, in other words, the academy is your level rudkin, get back there.
