Southampton was before he fully got his claws into our players, they did it without his influence imo.

When we beat Newcastle 5-0 at home.  Granted they received a fairly early red card, but we were brilliant that night.

Southampton 9-0 as a demolition job. As mentioned above, the win over Arsenal during the same period of games was excellent.

 

The cup win was obviously very important but taking that out of the equation there are loads of games that were better performances/spectacles.

I feel like the thrashing of other teams usually say more about them and their problems. Often a dominant 2-0 win is a sign of a great performance

As much as I want to say other games such as Villa away, it has to be the Southampton 9-0 game. To score 9 goals away from home is incredible, especically in a top division.
