I put £10 to go down @ 5/1 just after Christmas.

I don't want it to happen. It softens the blow. Blood money.

I blame you then. You jinxed us!

Genuinely think this will be a record for a premier league home win.

13-0 I’m going. If Haarland plays I think he will end up breaking a record of the most amount of goals scored in one game. He could easily put 10 past us by himself.

Our last 2 visits to the Etihad have seen 16 goals scored, so on that basis maybe it'll be 8-0, 7-1, 6-2 or 5-3, maintaining the 8 goals per game average. Btw, if we regard the defeat at Old Trafford back in February and next Saturday's (inevitable?) defeat as bookends to our dismal run, then everything should be okay for the rest of the season!

* Mendy if Youri's not fit

Can see this team keeping the score down as long as they all keep their heads up.

Haaland vs our defence is nightmare inducing

It's probably because I watch Man City highlights rather than full games, but most of his goals come when he's given space. It's almost like there is an invisible force field around him. In my naive way I think Souttar (or even Faes) can stop him scoring merely by pushing up on him. [of course other posters will now point out this creates space for him to run into]

However there are so many other talented players in Pep's team, that stopping just one player from scoring is irrelevant.

Might be the first time ever that bookies decide to pay out winnings for a Man City win before the match even kicks off

Predicted everything right recently. Not been too difficult, as we’re shit.

So it will come as no massive surprise for me to tell you that I think we win this one.

Obviously we won’t. It’s just that the relentless predictability of our demise is becoming slightly irksome.

Said this last night. Be Leicester to go and win this and then lose all remaining games.

Man City will suffer from fixtures fatigue when they play us.

We need to park the bus.

Even their second XI would pump us. Alvarez would race past our back line

Park the bus. Have two attacks. Score 1. Piss off Rodri.

No matter what happens, we would’ve left our mark on this season.

I'd order a celebratory Prostitute if this happens

I see no way on this earth that we get anything.

But then you remember that Rodri (thanks @Mickyblueeyes) is the saltiest nobhead going, and you think that maybe it'd be right up our street to do something.

Soumare will bring the energy!

Castagne is crap on the left and not much better on the right recently.

Hope the two Charlie’s in charge have been hearing how poor their performances has been. If they don’t have a clue call a flippin friend who can advise them or simply own up to top and say we are not qualified to do this sorry find someone worthy. As it is they are an embarrassing themselves.

against city we need a resolute defense so we can scrape a point. It’s too big an ask to win in this state but surely they can strive to defend for their lives for 90 min IF they truelly cared.
