I wouldn’t say I’m happy with it but we’ve made the best of a bad situation.
This is far better than getting stuck with Marsch or Benitez on 3 year deals.

Will we stay up, who knows. Hopefully they can get a reaction out the players.

I'll take it.

Smith seems like a decent, genuine bloke. Not sold on him 100% as a manager but as a trio they will be solid enough. We know what we're getting with Shakey and that defence needs putting in its place- having someone like Terry around, who knows how to win and win ugly, could be what we need.

It's clear from the last 2 games that the backroom staff were fully invested in Rodgers ball, so clear the decks and start again.

Yes one carte Blanche with Man.City, then clear the decks & sort out the shit mistakes and put us on the frontfoot…then go down with a fight,or spirit our way to

some rum turnover survival..

who better to have in the dressing room than former england captain and legendary defender john terry. this is the best part of this tbh. without him i wouldnt rate our chances much better at all

People being unimpressed with this and saying get somebody better in, in the summer need to realise that if we go down people  like potter wont give us a second look .If by some miracle they keep us up they deserve a chance to carry on

I’ll get behind them, but I can’t see us surviving this season. Will be better than the great escape IMO if we pull it off from the dire position we have put ourselves in on and off the pitch

...no way, we were 19 points from 29 games!!!

We created a great atmosphere at home games, played with a very highline and with wingbacks and players up and around Vardy, giving him support.

Can we do the same again.

Best thing is there is someone who knows the club and he is good coach. Shakey might be the key to all this. Hopefully Terry can put some sense into the defenders!!

Ah yes, John Terry. He's famous for getting disharmonious squads united isn't he! He's a real leader that pulls everyone together and totally doesn't try to shag all their girlfriends or punch people out.

Feels like an end of an era appointment.

Nothing against the guys but just feels like an appointment with one and a half eyes on the championship

Feels like Dean Smith is someone we'll be remembering in 20 years time, but not in a good way.

"remember when Dean Smith came in with John Terry, trying to save us. Lost 6 matches, drew 1, we took that 9-0 beating from Newcastle. It still took until November to fire him when we were bottom of the Championshop"

I want to know what they sell at Championshop. I can’t be the only one.

Dean Smith alone… would’ve been worse than Marsch… but there’s a tiny amount of hope in me that Shakey and Terry might do something magical, but with Man City on Saturday we could end up 4-5 points adrift by end of Sunday… still think we are down

Think it's the best we can come up with at present many wont happy but we're never going to get likes of Potter, Frank or Poch in this current situation.

I'm not sure if we can stay up but have shakey and Terry on side will be a huge help for Deano. I amazed Terry is on board for this project.

Like I said to you elsewhere, it's a week too late for me BUT after Man City there's 9 points from 3 winnable games and we're only 2 from safety despite everything.

Let's hope there's a bounce. Hope Shakey remembers how shit Amartey is and that we get a formation that gives us a chance of winning.

Disappointed that we messed about and lost the chance to put points on the the board from two massive home games.

That's water under the bridge now !!!   Time to kick it into gear & I think Shakey can sort some of the shite out & Terry will just threaten to bootfcuk the slackers .. Perfect !!

John Terry, keep your wife's, gfs and mum's close 🤣🤣

In all seriousness he could have a good influence on our defence. Need someone with his vocal mindset

Not sure if this is a parody but made me laugh anyway.
