Leeds and Forests’ run in is tricky

If I didn’t massively doubt our ability to pull some sort of home form together then I’d fancy us to stay up by the skin of our teeth.

Wolves, Everton & West Ham (who I think will be clear by last game) are all must wins, just don’t see us beating all 3, cos why would we? We didn’t beat any of Southampton, Bournemouth, Palace, Villa etc, so don’t see how we magically get 3pts when we need em, unfortunately. Like you say, the run in will

be very tight, some teams have got a fair few games against teams in and around them (like us), others, like Forest have horrendous runs on paper.

I sincerely hope you're right mate but I think the vast majority of them simply don't give or shit or just deny the shit position they've put us in. The likes of Maddison saying we'll be fine and snapping at local reporters who dare to call them out.

We may survive somehow but we certainly don't deserve to

Yeah I agree, feel that Maddison's lash out at Tanner was even more short-sighted than I believed it was at the time.

I don't think we deserve too either. I just feel that a few good results against teams around us could be the difference. But it all depends what the new coaches can do. Shakespeare could be the difference maker.

If we avoid relegation then we’ll have deserved it over the course of the season.

Sandwiched between their Champions League games vs Bayern too.  We could really use that new manager bounce.

I don’t think we stand a chance but you never know 😂

Wolves (H) - 3

Leeds (A) - 3

Everton (H) - 3

Fulham (A) - 3

Why not, you’re all forgetting that the other teams around us are also sh*t.

Let’s get the 16-0 loss to City out of the way. Then go on and stay up

Here we go. It's that time. The Run in.

Time to rally around the players (who have been a shower of something all season) and to back the club. We know things have been shocking, but hopefully with Dean Smith, Craig Shakespeare and John Terry we can get some fight back.

New Manager Bounce anyone?

8 games to go. How many points do you realistically think we'll get? Copy and paste the fixture list below, and insert your points!

Wolves (H) -

Leeds (A) -

Everton (H) -

Fulham (A) -

Liverpool (H) -

Newcastle (A) -

Need to win all our home games basically

Do that and the rest will sort itself out

So you're saying we're down....

I genuinely don't think there is enough ability or balance in the key areas of the pitch for us to stay up.

I don't see how anyone that has been watching our decline over the last 18 months can honestly still say they think this team will be able to get results against the likes of Everton, Wolves, and West Ham, when the pressure is on, let alone Man City, Liverpool, or Newcastle.

It never works out how people envisage it when you are struggling at the bottom.

6 points to Bournemouth

6 to Southampton

I would expect them to get a few coupon busters but lose the home games they are expected to win

Believe or Ignore it's up to you.

New manager bounce Over optimism hope it won't fade after the Man City game.

I think fulham will be that team that at this time of year just donate they’ve already started tbh and have lost the last 5

Problem is, they play everton and leeds next… not ideal for them to give them the chance to pull away from us.

Almost guaranteed they lose every game until they play us

I am loving the new found optimism by some, but feels like we have left it a bit late, and the fact we have been so bad for so long, means turning that suddenly around into wins, is a tall order for any new Manager.

Saving grace might be that there are 3 teams even worse than us that barely get another win. Otherwise, I still think we are more likely than not to be one of those three unfortunately.

There's always a chance though! Hope dies last...

Man City (A) - 0 ( dreaming of a draw it'd change everything in a day )

Wolves (H) - 3

Leeds (A) - 1

Everton (H) - 3

Fulham (A) - 3

Liverpool (H) - 1

Newcastle (A) - 0

West Ham (H) - 3

Vardy v West Ham 1 - 0 who signs off by blowing imaginary bubbles at them.

Comfortable. Eye on Europe next season.

Brendan interviews for the Southampton job but they don't let him in the building. Linfield also say they're ok when he calls.
