Well seeing as he's a Leicester fan and this is a Leicester forum, I'd like to think we'd all say Selby.

 

P.S. I say it every year but Selby lives down the road from my parents. He's lived there for quite a few years now and my folks have got to know him and Vikki quite well.

 

By all accounts he seems like a genuine family man and I'd love to see him win it for a 5th time.

Talk about the difference between the semi finals though.

 

One is the no fear one table novices all guns blazing.

 

The other is an arm wrestle with 'new' Mark Allen against one of the best matchplay players of all time.

 

Both brilliant in their own ways.

Scratch that. Needed snookers to prevent going 3-7 down. And he did it.

Love to know the stats of how many times Selby gets to 40 or 50 and breaks down. Then causing a massively long frame, when it could've been over with a couple more reds. He is so good at protecting himself that it takes ages for an opponent to generate a chance. This is not a criticism.
