I just googled that to see what you were talking about and was rather shocked with what my search engine produced 2

Popular Post Dan Posted 8 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 8 May 2023 Think what's most disappointing of all is that this is a style we effectively showed up a few years ago. Why are we falling into our own traps? I'd far sooner Hutter. His football is more exciting. 5
LanguedocFox Posted 8 May 2023 Posted 8 May 2023 Martin sounds like an interesting person (set up a charity to help children through football, vegan, member of the Green Party etc), but his managerial record is frankly uninspiring. Over his time at Franchise FC and Swansea, his average win percentage is about 35%, which is only slightly better than Puel’s and way worse than what Rodgers did. I’m assuming we will stay up, if only because Leeds, Florist and Everton are all slightly worse than us. On that basis, the new manager is absolutely vital. I like the idea of getting in a young innovative manager - it was great with MON, but he came in when we were a middling club used to a life of continual ups and downs. It’s a different world (and a different LCFC) now. With our commitments, playing staff and cost-base, relegation would be disastrous for us (as it will/would be for Everton) so now is not the time for experimenting. For my money we should be looking at a manager from Europe who can improve the club on every level - training, tactics, recruitment. No idea who, but that’s where we should be looking. 1
dannythefox Posted 8 May 2023 Posted 8 May 2023 If we go down I actually think that’s Smiths best chance of getting the job.

SafewayFox Posted 8 May 2023 Posted 8 May 2023 Why can’t we just admit as a club that we’re at our best when not obsessed with this “death by possession” football. I don’t like him much nowadays (he was a breath of fresh air when first arrived) but Klopp’s style of football is one that we should aim for…with high energy, high press if we have to copy somebody 🙏🏻
