Popular Post Leicester_Loyal Posted 6 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 6 May 2023 (edited) Oh we are useless aren’t we A new Rodgers is the last thing this club needs, regardless of what division we’re in. Edited 6 May 2023 by Leicester_Loyal 6 1
LcFc_Smiv Posted 6 May 2023 Posted 6 May 2023 If this is true, it’s very easy to see how we will quickly deteriorate into a nothing Championship club.
FoxyLeon Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 We should desperately avoid anyone referred to as the 'Next Brendan Rodgers', the same way those wonderful street corner ladies down highfields should avoid the bloke named the 'Next Ted Bundy'. 1
Aus Fox Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 Serious question, when it comes to recruitment of a new manager, who is responsible? Would it be Rudkin? And Top has the final stamp of approval, would it be just a Rudkin decision, or would Rudkin take a short list of names to Top? Is there a committee of people who can look at it from all different angles? I’d just love to know whom it falls upon, to pick the new manager, and then negotiate salary and contract length.
Popular Post Lambert09 Posted 7 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 May 2023 took a look on the swansea forum and found this: Now what’s weird is that all the comments in the thread were just so shocked that he was speaking so highly of their achievements when they’ve simply underperformed again. They all seemed to think that the squad is hugely talented. They all seem to think that he cares more about winning possession than football matches. He’d rather have a pretty game of football than fight to hold out for a win. and finally they got no wins against the teams in the top 6. It all sounds like brendan and i’m not here for it at all 6
South Shire Fox Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 (edited) Jesus, i was hoping the guy who told me we were snooping was talking bollucks. Hopefully Alan Nixon has just made it up from reading this forum 😂 Edited 7 May 2023 by South Shire Fox 1

I'd be alarmed if that record got you an interview, let alone got you the job.

Didn’t Kasper say he has unfinished business here? 😏 Completely agree, we need a different voice and direction at board room level. The present one seem to have a lack of top level football knowledge, and are seemingly hesitant in making important decisive decisions, and showing an alarming lack of ambition of late too. Worrying signs. 2
LCFCJohn Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 What a further joke we will become if we appoint this guy. If we seem determined to repeat mistakes rather than learn from them the club absolutely deserves to plummet down the leagues. It’s the fans who don’t deserve this. 1
HighPeakFox Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 It's a rumour, people, not fact or anything close to it. 1
sacreblueits442 Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 ...there was a lot ou "you " in that speech, when you would have expected the word "we" to have been more prominent!!! He came across as glib and insincere, I am just not convinced.

You can't rant and shout abuse, or call players out anymore, it is considered bullying. I'm not making light of mental health, but some players today would have a breakdown if they got the hair dryer treatment.

Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 7 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 7 May 2023 This has really wound me up. Don't you fcukin dare Leicester. I know it's probably a bit uncouth whilst we're fighting for our survival but I'd absolutely love a Rudkin Out protest. Do him dirty. 7 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 Let’s hope it is nothing more than Agents talk and rumours. However if there is any shred of truth in this and aligned with the interest in Potter, it does feel the club has a very unhealthy obsession over playing possession based football rather than learning from the mistakes of the last couple of years and reevaluating the style of play. Personally I would much prefer a hybrid where we still play good football but we play with high intensity. To say I am deflated with this link, would be an understatement to say the very least. 3 1

I couldn’t agree more, regardless of whether we stay up or get relegated there has to be a shake up at the club and that includes this style of football,, if Rudkin is too arrogant to admit that this approach has contributed to our demise and that we need a fresh start and a different style then he has to go. After what has been nothing short of an absolute disaster of a season, to carry on next season with more of the same would be complete and utter madness. 5 1
Super_horns Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 (edited) He likes to play very much a keep possession type of football so looks good when it works but a real shambles when it doesn’t… Basically another team that wants to be like Man City . I mean Swansea did the double over us but hasn’t been hard to do that against us ! Edited 7 May 2023 by Super_horns 2
Mike Oxlong Posted 7 May 2023 Posted 7 May 2023 Great news …. for any not STH who will actually want a season ticket to enable them to watch dull uninspiring football as we drift around midtable in the Championship
