What decisions has he made, what actions has he taken, in his time at the top which make you believe he could do any of that  ?

The guy could not even see Brendan was a massive conman  ?   And you'd like him to decide on all aspects of a root and branch rebuild   ?

Astounding.

King Power are the reason we have a Premier League and an FA Cup trophy. Id be quite happy for Top to stay if he realises what a monumental **** up leaving his trust in Rodgers, Rudkin etc and makes changes so this can never happen again

It's as simple as this, if they get the likes of Rudkin and Whelan out and some trustworthy heads in then I'll give it another go. But the chances of this are obviously not high, so they can go for me.

And yes I'm being careful what I'm wishing for. If another owner had come in and served up this last two years, people would be honest about what's really going on here.

The main reason for me above all is that our fans as a collective, and I'm not talking about on here or Twitter, are completely apathetic and give far too much leeway to this ownership and it's based on nothing that the individuals themselves have earned. They cannot be objective about what is truly going on. The place should be absolute mutiny and it should've been most of the season. What you get are a few boos, a few sarcastic songs, and a few genuinely clapping the latest edition of the club taking the piss out of them.

Agreed, too much sentimentality involved with the club. Look where it’s got us

Yes as don't think Top will make the wholesale changes required at board level. Level of investment has been quite good but club is being run into the ground by clueless monkeys

The reason died in the crash.

KP is just two words without him.

What will change? The blind faith in proven incompetent people is the issue before you factor in the lack of interest/investment.

Is there any other dodgy, corrupt, human rights violators with billions to burn that are wishing to make another football club state run because at this moment in time I look at it as a better option than our current owners!

I'd take a Mexican drug cartel at this point if it meant we end up hiring a semi-competent DOF

No one will touch a relegated club with players on big wages or looking to move?

What's our loan structure like?

Parachute payments will no doubt t be p1ssed up the wall.

Parachute payments will be straight to the premier league by the sounds of what we will owe them?

Dont believe that at all. We will be a very attractive club if we ever go up for sale. Debt written off, Recent history, fanbase, world class training facilities and stadium plans. We are a much bigger club now then last time we were in the Championship.

Dunno. A canny investor might see a club they can buy at a better value who they know can compete in the PL and possesses two assets worthy of the level.

Jesus wept.

I haven't read any further than this comment.

This "great" club under their leadership has gained promotion from championship, bought the stadium back, squashed debt(albeit at the beginning) taken us to a Premier league title, champions league, Europe and the holy grail of the FA Cup.

Did you start supporting us in 2015?

So many deluded fans on this post. It's tough at times and we shouldn't be in the position we are in for many reasons, but we are.

Sometimes it isn't always greener, especially with new owners. I'm sure if someone can find the takeover thread originally people weren't keen and look what we have done since then.

Better the devil you know. I'd rather go down and have a rebuild with KP in charge than not.

How responsible was Vichai for everything you mentioned and how responsible was Top? Was it King Powers leadership, or Vichai’s that brought us all those things? (The FA cup is the only outlier).

I just don’t understand how you can defend King Power in its current state. I feel like your opinion is solely based on what they used to do for the club and not what they’ve been doing for the last few years. I feel like you, and a lot of people that sit and clap along after performances like tonight and most of the season are blinded by the past.

Top has ruined the club. We were on the up, we were envied by most teams and seen as the blueprint of how to run a club. Then, Vichai was gone and his son was left, who can’t run a football club and can’t employ competent people.

As for your last paragraph, do you really expect a decent rebuild from anyone at the club currently? I’m not sure there’s even a shred of evidence that suggests it will go well.

Yep, you can buy one of the most famous clubs in the world with a state of the art training ground, near enough blank state squad, big-ish fanbase with concrete expansion plans for probably half of what it’d cost 3 years ago.

How sad was it when the visit Thailand advert boomed onto the screen, to drown out the boos of the fans at half time? How sad was it when we did a minute applause/silence for the King of Thailand, who restricted free speech in his own country? How sad was it when we won the league, the ownership paraded around the ground with the trophy and a picture of the king of Thailand?

Keep them on, but Aiyawatt needs to sit in the background and appoint some proper football people.

Top can stay as long as he wants as long as he invests properly and starts with a brand new set of Directors.

Otherwise, I'll send King Power my thanks and bid them adieu. If Rudkin and Whelan don't pack their gold-plated bags and hit the road, then King Power should.

I have no doubt that the club would be able to attract a buyer, especially with our stock being lower due to potential championship football.

Seagrave and KP are 2 of our most value assets right now. We also have quite a few of the big trophies to the club now so there is that to build off of. As long as we don't get someone in like Ashley, the new owners would be ambitious and want to leave behind a legacy that doesn't end in tears. They could start fresh and stamp their mark on the club the same way KP did at the beginning.

No, if there's one thing you can't level at KP is that they're opportunists. I genuinely fear the absolute shower of prospective, opportunistic (American) owners more. That being said a clear-out at the top is essential.

Vichai’s statue is being guarded by 8 to 10 stewards after every game. If you have that opinion of your fans, you know it’s the end game. You are admitting the problem. So start doing something tangible about it.

I don’t know why for the life of me a club like ours doesn’t look at the Brentford / Brighton model, or AZ Alkhmar. Analytics, scouting etc, that’s where it’s at, spend more on the back room staff getting that right and the football on the pitch looks after itself.

I genuinely hope for a massive re-build job and straight back fighting for promotion, but I don’t think KP has the same desire anymore. I’ll never slate them though, what they have done for this club has been historic and will be spoke about for decades

We did. But then they gave Rodgers too much control. Rudkin is so archaic that he didn’t fight strong enough for it despite him being the head of football matters.

We’ve had a huge talent drain for a while now and the board have stood still allowing it to happen.
