Hearing that Brennan Johnson is set to move to Villa.

Would be a good move for both potentially.

Also ends their pursuit of Barnes I would imagine

Came here to post this, all looks a bit dodgy doesn't it?

Ik it's one thing to show them doing things and another to prove it's breaking rules. But how the league let's so much slide is ridiculous. PIF now own and invest in two of the big 6/7. A short Google suggests a company backed by PIF also sponsor man city.

Ruben Neves going to Saudi at aged 26. Shame really. Such a good player deciding to effectively retire from high level football.

Would he go there? Was thinking maybe Allardyce.

Possibly, it must be someone decent though as O’Neill had done a good job there.

I think it was quite clear from the January window that their new owners want to go big, don’t think it’s odd timing, statement sounds like replacement will be named today

Would be an interesting link.

Guess we'll find out in the coming days.

Can imagine it'll be either Potter or an overhyped older manager.

If it had been linked the statement would have been tiny and just said he’s been sacked and no further comment.
