Wymsey Posted 15 June 2023 Posted 15 June 2023 Haaland does come across as classy and genuine. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-65902348

Whenever a team scores against them he goes quiet for five minutes.

EastAnglianFox Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Tyler stepping down...Great start to the day that!
Popular Post TJQuik Posted 17 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 17 June 2023 The amount of people supporting Mason Greenwood and attacking the woman he abused and is potentially still abusing is really disturbing. We focus on the andrew tate incel types as a small group but those kind of views are so prevalent. 3 2

There were a few matches, e.g the league cup final that he'd normally commentate on that were instead given to others.
Wymsey Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Can't believe how old-fashioned Luton's ground is.. But credit to them in playing there throughout their existence.

Been trying to move for decades . Trouble is they tried to move on one occasion to a motorway junction next to a green belt land and neighbouring town which is very middle class so the locals were never going to accept it . Few other articles about them cutting costs and axing various other names. 1
SystonFox Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Tyler is a parody and it’s long over due he’s gone. the lack of emotion when certain teams score is mad. Someone said he’s a Chelsea fan I’m convinced he’s Man Utd the way he celebrates their goals and loathes a Liverpool screamer. 1

Bianca Westwood, Dickie Davis, Johnny Phillips (memorable for our playoff game with you!), Jaydee Dyer amongst them. Makes me think they'll get rid of Soccer Saturday or only do it on certain weeks?
Tuna Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 Can't get used to this thread being in this section of the site!

Are they really going? I thought mostly these guys are freelancers and presumed this just meant they were losing their contracts at Sky Sports?

For a couple of years now, Sky have moved away from paying trained journalist with experience at local radio and newspapers to have daft vloggers like Thogden, that gormy Rory Chelsea fan etc. Partly to save cash and partly chasing after another demographic. 1
jayfox26 Posted 17 June 2023 Posted 17 June 2023 The football broadcasters are a disgrace! Who would be interesting to watch on TV first game of the season? Luton I'd say. Who do they put on? The fecking cartel 7 as usual! I can understand Chelsea vs Liverpool and Brentford spurs is a London Derby plus man c vs Burnley is interesting but Man U v wolves and Arsenal v forest? Get in the bin! 3
