Poznan34 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 how much are away tickets in the champ these days? more than the PL £30?

The bigger clubs will probably charge more ie Leeds. The Premier League is capped at £30 which is the best thing as a travelling fan. We are no longer going to get capped prices. 2

It’s no cheaper mate, I was speaking to my mate who’s a Cov fan and he reckons it’s still expensive. He said he paid £40 to watch Luton away. So it’s no cheaper, and it’s a lot shitter. 3 1

No cap, it's entirely up to the teams to charge what they want (as long as away fans aren't charged more than home fans for the equivalent seats). Typically most teams negotiate a mutual deal where they agree to charge each other the same amount, often less than £30. So that depends how Leicester want to play it. 1

I went to Cov, Forest and Derby last season in the away end. None of the tickets were over £30.

lcfcben76 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 Just watching MOTD - I reckon Southampton could be up there. Probably not going to lose too many players; Sulemana, Armstrong x2, Livramento, etc… looks like a strong grounding. 1
Popular Post Ian Nacho Posted 28 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 28 May 2023 I literally know nothing about these bums. If you know who manages the likes of Preston, Birmingham and Hull, you need to get out the house more. 8

Ryan Lowe manages Preston and I only know that as I live and work near Preston and some of my colleagues are Preston fans. As for Birmingham and Hull my guess would be Trevor Francis and Phil Brown.
Gazza3 Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 (edited) You do realise there's no price cap on away tickets. Anyone looking forward to this is an idiot Edited 28 May 2023 by Gazza3
ozvaldo Posted 28 May 2023 Posted 28 May 2023 I have no idea who we’ll be able to hold onto, but, if we can keep this lot, we have a chance: Iversen Thomas Kristiansen Souttar JJ KDH (captain) Kelechi Daka Vardy Problem is - there’s a HUGE rebuild that needs to happen to create a squad capable of staying fit and ready for 46 games. And we’ve got about 2 months to make that happen. Recruitment and contracts need to be spot on.

tom27111 Posted 29 May 2023 Posted 29 May 2023 In the woke era and the age of snowflakes, we should refuse to believe we're in the Championship and identify as a Premier League team. We should sue the Premier League if they refuse to comply

We’ll have to get in at least 10 new players no way can this board manage to work on that many deals in 10 weeks. That’s without finding a manager and back room staff. All whilst the director of football and chief executives places should be under threat. Bang on. Club can't even scrape together two signings before deadline day (and when they do, they are garbage). The thought of 10-15 new signings within a reasonable time frame is beyond the capacity of this club.
Sly Posted 29 May 2023 Author Posted 29 May 2023 19 teams in the Championship, have been a Premiership club at some stage. So head coaches at the moment:and who’s in the Championship. Birmingham - John Eustace Blackburn - Jon Dahl Tomosson Bristol City - Nigel Pearson Cardiff City - Stan Lamouchi Coventry City - Mark Robins Huddlesfield Town - TBC Hull City - Liam Roseniar Ipswich Town - Kieran McKenna Leeds United - TBC Leicester City - TBC Middlesborough - Michael Carrick Millwall - Gary Rowett Norwich - David Wagner Plymouth Argyle - Stephen Schumacher Preston North End - Ryan Lowe Queens Park Rangers - Gareth Ainsworth Rotherham United - Matt Taylor Southampton - TBC Stoke City - Alex Neil Sunderland - Tony Mowbray Swansea - Russell Martin Watford - Valerie’s Ismael West Bromwich Albion - Carlos Coberan The League One playoff is today, between Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday. So out of the 24 clubs, I think it’s only Bristol, Rotherham, Plymouth, Preston and Millwall that have never been a Premier League club (obviously some have previously been too flight).
Sly Posted 29 May 2023 Author Posted 29 May 2023 Current early betting odds have us and Leeds (unsurprisingly) as favourites to gain promotion. Leicester - 5/1 Leeds - 11/2 Middlesbrough - 10/1 Southampton - 10/1 Ipswich - 14/1 Norwich - 14/1 Watford - 14/1 West Brom - 14/1 Stoke - 20/1 Sunderland - 20/1 Blackburn - 25/1 Coventry - 25/1 Millwall - 25/1 Swansea - 25/1 Hull - 28/1 Birmingham - 33/1 Cardiff - 33/1 Bristol City - 40/1 Plymouth - 40/1 Preston - 40/1 QPR - 40/1 Huddersfield - 50/1 Rotherham - 80/1

Lot can change between now and the start of the new season of course.
