Langston Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Bored of them now, not taking part in the faux wanking each other off contest “hope you come up, great club” - past caring who comes up with us now 1 3
StanSP Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 They were 7/2 to score the 5th goal as well. Printing money

Great mentality. Exactly that. Mentality between us and them is chalk and cheese, hence why we have a squad that Peter Taylor could win the league with attempting to throw it away and they have a squad that could have been in a relegation battle that will go up. 4 1

beepee1984 Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Watching the last 15 minutes of the Ipswich match and they have the "never quit" spirit we usually see (but currently missing?) in our team 2
An Away Move Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Just now, Benji said: That’s not luck. It’s desire and aggression. Everything we’re lacking at the moment. It’s not luck if they keep doing it. Took points off us in both games doing the same. Done to others too. If they go up as champions they’d deserve it. Lost fewer than anyone else. 1 2
Blanchflower78 Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 They play quick possession football but happy to mix up styles and formations. What McKenna is doing on a shoestring with largely a League 1 squad is far more impressive that Enzo with the riches he has enjoyed in comparison. 3 1
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 OG surely must be Ipswich's top scorer this season, never seen a team so lucky 1
Foxin_Mad Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 There is no way on earth Ipswich don't finish above us, no way. Different class in all honesty. 1 2
Langston Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 @The Bear this is why I celebrated Ipswich conceding the other week when you said them winning would benefit us, FYI!

fazzyfox Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 We’re a game closer to the end of the season, our situation has improved. I don’t like the look of the momentum others are gaining / maintaining but we can only affect that if and when we play them

We’re passing round in circles and the crowd are bored stiff. They did go through a patch of 1 win in 9… sure back on track but it happened. They are so jammy too 1

We haven't regularly had deflections throughout the season, we've had 2 or 3, and the reason you get deflections that go in is by shooting towards goal. Whether they go in cleanly or deflected doesn't matter - if you keep shooting it isn't just luck. I could also tell you loads of occasions where we've lost points due to being unlucky. You don't watch our games so you will have missed those. We're into March now, only 3 points behind you, and have only lost 4 games all season. That's an extraordinary amount of luck! 2 or 3!! You are joking I hope. Not saying you don't deserve to be where you are as you have been outstanding all season (just not as outstanding as us which is why we are top and 3 points plus mega goal difference clear) There is no denying that you have had your fair share of lucky deflections 2

Gerard Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Switched it on after our game and Ipswich were 2-1 down and just about to take a free kick, I watched about 7 mins and in that time Ipswich scored twice and missed a penalty. You have to hand it to them, they seem to do this every other week. 2 1
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Ipswich wtf I swear they’re not even that good. Must just be fit. 2

Popular Post TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 5 March 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 March 2024 One major difference is. Leicester crowd are full of people who think that we have a divine right to win every game so there is literally zero support. Ipswich fans can't believe they are near top and fighting for promotion to premier league so the crowd are fully behind them. Our home form and games will be so important. Our crowd need to stop the cageyness and get behind them 9 2
