It was 7/1 on not being promoted when I did it. I've got Leeds winning the league at 5/2. Hopefully, thats enough to secure our promotion.

Skybet have us at 11/2 to make the Play-offs. 

 

7/1 to not be promoted at all.

Oops, just seen this too. 

 

I've got Ipswich at 6/1 to win the league, and had Leeds at 10/3.

Betfair has us at 2/9 to get promoted so you could lay it

£100 bet would mean losing £22 if we got promoted or winning £100 if we didn't

In that case the 11/2 bet with Sky is a much better option

I think I have never seen you criticise anything about the club this season.  I dont know your reasons but it seems you think we are doing the best possible and no mistakes have been made, I even remember you debating with me over Ndidi, you thought he should be dropped, I told you he was important, and now a couple of posts up you have him listed as a reason for our downfall. lol

 

I agree with Ric Flair 100%, you cant claim 19 points from 14 games would be acceptable by any measure.  It would show that for a final 1/3 of the season we have regressed heavily, and for a team fighting for autos, and a team with the biggest playing budget in the season its just not acceptable.

 

Now there was one guy in this thread a couple of months back he said he believed the gap wouldnt be closed because it was literally almost impossible for us to go on a bad enough run along side any of the chasing pack having a good run and if the gap got closed the manager and players would deserve any criticism thrown their way, I wonder if he stands by those words, cant remember who it was though.

Thats the odds. I got, was 6/1 on Sunday.

Sky bet have some weird triple bet they offer if you go to oddschecker.

 

Go to odds checker, add Leicester in the playoffs to basked.  Then add ipswich and leeds to basket as finishing in top 2, so 3 bets.  Then a 4th offer will appear, for all 3 to happen it offers some crazy odds of over 40/1, and you dont need to bet on the 3 individual options, however when I logged in the offer vanished.  At a guess it probably didnt let me bet as I already have one on the Leicester to be in playoffs.

Are Middlesbrough and QPR tough games now?

 

As I said, if we win the league then we've bottled nothing. If we limp to 95 points and come second, then we have. That would be just 33 points from 21 games this year.

 

In fact I think how we finish defines it now, if we hit 100 points but get second then I won't grumble too much.

Chelsea with what they’ve spent shouldn’t be mid table. It’s a disaster for them that they are.

Why? Sorry for gatecrashing but like to keep up with the opposition.  We were LG1 but deliberately bought players with Championship pedigree and beyond and invested hugely with the coaching team (manager included) to get them where they need to be. Davis and Broadhead prime examples - way too good for league one but with the right coaching. Then we got in quality loan players to assist and there is real prospect that one of them is signing for us because of the ethos of the club and how it's developed him.
Sometimes results is more about the value of a team but the togetherness and with this team they learnt the hard way last year which has them in good stead
We are only exceptional because how we are set up and have developed
I woudl love nothing more than you and us to get promoted as Leeds are just way too arrogant

If you go up what is the point?... apart from money of course!!

You'll get beat pretty much week after week!

What's to look forward to exactly for a team like Ipswich in the PL circus?

It’s a compliment. On paper and budget, Ipswich shouldn’t be anywhere near the top two but they are.
