Or it’s just a ploy to get the best deal for the club for him as we can . If the new manager came out and said he’s shit and not in my plans it kinda weakens your stance in striking any deal . Or alternatively, Maresca knows more about footballers than anybody on foxestalk and sees something in Choudhury that he thinks he can work with? 1

Sankey93 Posted 24 July 2023 Posted 24 July 2023 I’m keeping hamza. Don’t sell to Southampton it will haunt us. His stats from last season was pretty good.
Matt Posted 24 July 2023 Posted 24 July 2023 I’d be more annoyed about losing Choudhury than I am anyone who’s already gone. That’s a sad indictment of how I regard those who have already left. 4
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 24 July 2023 Popular Post Posted 24 July 2023 Go and get Keita from Leuven and take anything we can. His contract is up next summer and he's been on silly wages for his ability for too long. 6

Depends what you can replace him with, someone on the same wage that might actually have a future in the top tier 1

Other people see things that fit exactly what they need and turn them into the base for their puzzle.

It would help both clubs, it would be just the right time to improve Keita under Maresca and the money going to OHL will be a great help to them. So long as we are paying the market price!!! when_you're_smiling Posted 24 July 2023 Posted 24 July 2023 There were times last season where I felt we missed him coming off the bench and just getting stuck in. He’d definitely have a role to play this season, especially question marks over N’Didi’s recent form and whether he’ll stay or not. I’d rather have someone in that knows the division too.

"Pleasure doing business with you John". 3
eddylcfc Posted 24 July 2023 Posted 24 July 2023 Reports we want to offer Hamza a new contract… good to see the club learning from their previous errors.
Finnegan Posted 24 July 2023 Posted 24 July 2023 18th percentile for progressive passes, 9th for progressive carries, 39th for attempted passes, 58th for pass completion, 10th for expected assists, 1st for shot creating actions ( ) and 14th for goals vs all other midfielders. As good as he is at tackles and interceptions, he just doesn't do anywhere near enough with the ball to work under Maresca. Similar problem with Ndidi, they're just not a type of player that we're likely to play under the current manager. One in the squad arguably gives you an option. Two is pointless.
