lcfc sheff Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 You’d think maresca doesn’t really want to keep him at expense of signing an actual attacking midfielder. So would be double strange to see him stay with him only having a year left on his deal

Unless we desperately have to cash in for financial reasons, we might just have to take the hit next year with them leaving on a free. 4

As with a lot of the players we’ve not moved on when we should have. Hopefully the club has learnt a lot from this with Youri, iheanacho, ndidi etc
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 I have completely changed my mind and actually think we should sell Ndidi to the red scum with a critical condition in place they have to take Agent Ward as part of the package That will scupper the scummy bastards . . . 2

He isn't going to Nottingham Forest who deny making any sort of bid for the Moroccan. They want Leicester's Wilfred Ndidi and deal is close.
Trelleh Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 Either championship now with us or next year with them, his choice 🤣 1 1

I think forest are set fair for a gruesome 6 or 7 year stay in the manner of Stoke or Bolton. Eventually they will get rid of Cooper in a bid to expand their game and it'll crumble instantly 2

Too many poor sides in the PL this season - can think of at least four clubs in a worse position than Forest, including the 3 promoted clubs plus Everton.

Selling Brennan Johnson is pretty much essential now, as the £50m would be all profit .

I wouldn’t quite write sheffield off yet and their business has been smart so hopefully they can surprise a few and send them down with the ev 1

I don't think Luton have recruited badly either. The most obvious relegation candidate right now is Everton.

The whole world smiles Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 If signing wilf for 15+ million is a statement, a player who hasn't had a good Premier league for 18 months and who has 10 months left on his deal then that statement surely has to be “we are desperate and we don't know what we are doing".
moore_94 Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 (edited) Surely they don’t sign Wilf as well? Edited 31 August 2023 by moore_94

FrankieADZ Posted 31 August 2023 Posted 31 August 2023 does seem odd they want Wilf and Sangare, unless one is a smoke screen for the other
