Watching Boro try to play out from the back against this Chelsea side is strictly for fans of splatter flicks.

For all the accusations that the big clubs don't take the domestic cups seriously, almost all the league cups and fa cups are won by them.

Probably because their changed sides will still beat 80% of other teams in the country. Says more about the disparity between the have and the have nots rather than it meaning the big clubs throw everything at domestic cups.

Liverpool favourites now surely. They're better than Chelsea.

 

Shame we didn't see that as a semi final so one of Fulham or Middlesbrough got there.
