2 or 3 chances to lay it back to Stolarczyk so he could launch it

Then a chance to launch it out himself for a throw in

He is just stupid

The intelligence of our players has been a big issue for a long time. Genuinely brain dead

Ok, I'm gonna try defend the indefensible.....I thought he was trying to do the right thing.

All the defenders plus winks and Bouba and Bilal have clearly been instructed to take an extra touch when deep and be braver. Make the less obvious pass.Risk and reward etc. And to an extent it worked today and v Man City.

He tried not just to clear it out. He looked for a pass, delayed, looked again, delayed looked again. So far so good. Then he fooked up.

That’s how I saw it also & had Ayew gone to the ball we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Also and like you not to defend but merely highlight something, Justin has had 3 times the amount of touches in opposition box than Bilal for instance, I get Bilal hasn’t played as many minutes but not 3 times less so JJ is being asked to do a lot more than just be a RB and he has no cover infront of him.

He is also the player that has played the most minutes in the squad & probably does need a break, VK is next most incidentally.

This is where I go back to the point in made about the players literally needing to be spoon-fed information and people scoffed.

They're supposedly professional ****ing footballers.

Desperate need for a replacement, I hope Ruud recognises this as much as our fans do. I've been slating him for weeks, he's just not good enough for what we need right now and it's glaringly obvious.

surely RVN watches the games back and can see JJ needs to be dropped,

Wolves, Liverpool, Man City now the Villa game, each one a mistake or honking defending

like come on how many mistakes does he have to make to be dropped

The reaction of the players, Bouba, Winks, Faes and even Ayew very much mean he is done. Not that any of them are any better but he is now in Danny Ward territory of liability levels

Saw two things first half. JJ overlapped, running 100 yards..cross came to nothing. Then had to sprint back as Ayew CBA to temporarily fill in for him. Ayew just did his job as we fell into shape. Must be so dispiriting for JJ. I'm alright jack attitude from Ayew.

Similar time, he almost fcked up like wolves and left a deep cross...but was offside. But he gave a look to Jakub as if to say, where's my fcking call?

He's having a.mare, but he needs a hand too.

fed up of him now. Dunno if Rodgers gross mismanagement of his injury (trying to play him 3 90s in a week the moment he was making a comeback) has ruined him or if 20/21 was just a flash in the pan for him, but he can't keep playing, he's costing us every week.

It's mind boggling.

Emery knew there was a mistake in JJ, hence bringing Maatsen on and it paid off almost immediately.

Every manager knows there's mistakes in him, except RVN it seems.

Every week that I see his name on the team sheet I foresee disaster. He is the worst regular starter in the Premier League. That’s been obvious for quite some time.

He should have been discarded long ago. In football, as in life, though, you reap what you sow.

His strength was his overlapping and even underlapping runs when working with Barnes. Managers don't seem to want full backs to do that anymore. He was never good on the ball consistently and was always suspect in defence.

Kristiansen does it constantly!!

Mavididi rarely passes to him when he's got the space on the overlap though.

Don’t know the best way to post it on here, but I have the video. It’s 29 goals conceded because of his direct error or very much involved/ poor positioning. 30 today.

That's absurd.

68% of goals conceded thanks to him.

He must be loving life, playing despite probably knowing he's shit but still getting big bucks into his bank account.

Is that this season?

Direct it to lcfc via their email channels.

The full clip; there are 5 or 6 opportunities to clear it instead of that pass.

That doesn’t surprise me in the least.

What does surprise - and anger - me is that he is allowed the opportunity to keep adding to that tally of shame week after week.
