Interesting players go on loan and it can unsettle them if this kid comes here, has a great season and we bounce back then we are able to try and get him out of palace over the next few windows. that won’t happen at Ipswich, Birmingham or Blackburn because even if they went up, they aren’t a more attractive option than palace. We could be though. whilst he may want to come here, palace may not be so keen

Our wide players both look like they're instructed to stretch the play, get right to the touch line and as far forward as possible to receive those big diagonals once the opposition have been drawn in trying to win the ball back from our passing triangles on the other side. Mavididi was free absolutely loads in the first half much the same way. Also Coventry play with a very narrow formation that leaves them exposed out wide, I think this is why we did less through the middle with winks and rico and more of the diagonal balls out to the wingers.

Muzzy_no7 Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 If he is loaned to anyone else in the championship then it’s clear to me that our interest wasn’t concrete enough and we must have other priorities.

If it was not a concrete interest then he would not have been here. We have to just hope this falls on to ourside.

With a lot of our young lads, we let them look around the various clubs before letting them decide where they want to go. JRS visited a few clubs last season including MK Dons and Charlton. He obviously ended up choosing Charlton. All the noise our end is that he and both clubs want the move. 5
Guest glasgowfox Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Speaking to a Charlton fan on the train home on Saturday and he said this kid is the real deal.

lcfcsnow Posted 8 August 2023 Posted 8 August 2023 Seeing as Casadei wants to go back to Italy, you just know this guy won't want to leave London
Pliskin Posted 9 August 2023 Posted 9 August 2023 Palace want Iversen apparently. Wonder if we can work a deal out?
