Eh… we’ve produced a fair amount in recent years. We had a team in the premier with Thomas, KDH and Barnes in it.

We have a few promising young players currently long term injured who were likely to be the next ones.

Not sure what people expect.

I think the one area we can improve on is flogging some ones not up to it, for a little income.

Accepting that's more difficult for a club like us than the likes of the big 6.

People have to want them. You need an excess of quality youngsters who can make it in the championship, few clubs have that outside the big ones as you say.

Is the only reason people are getting melodramatic about this the fact it hasn't been announced yet?

Has anything be announced on this front, or is it just people on Twitter claiming to be ITKs that are merely saying that something has happened/will be happening?

Some of the most reliable sources we have, including Fab (who, while people might resent the fact he has to be a bit click-baity at times to sustain his profile, has never gotten anything wrong about us once he's given it his "lets go") have said that terms have been agreed and he's been having a medical.

It is extremely likely he's coming here unless a move from Serie A has scuppered the deal last minute (we've seen from the Caicedo deal at Liverpool that even the biggest clubs in the world are prone to difficulties at times and no deal is straight forward) but there's literally no evidence to support that.

Given that the deal was likely wrapped up quite late in the week and that he had no chance of being in the squad ready for the Huddersfield away trip, it's entirely possible that he's gone back to London to get his affairs in order and say his goodbyes before being announced early next week. Remember that we got the Mavididi deal quite obviously wrapped up about a week before we announced it because the squad were abroad in Thailand.

Honestly, there's more reason to think Casadei is coming here than not and most of the people being melodramatic and negative just need to go outside and touch grass and stop being so pathetic.

Chelsea are getting a few midfielders in

I suppose that things could always go wrong with any transfer in

so perhaps Chelsea are waiting for their next midfielder in to be confirmed before they rubber stamp this ????

Smoke some grass maybe more helpful.

the worrying noise was brighton. If they are doing what they did with the cucurella deal and trying to get him as a sweatner… we are Brendan rodgered

Was there even any concrete source or anything of the sort about Brighton being interested in him?

Seems like all there was on here was an off-handed comment about someone getting a text from a mate and that is it

Chelsea can and will afford to simply match Liverpool's bid.

Caicedo has absolutely done them by refusing to talk to Liverpool. He's stopped it being an auction really. Chelsea probably COULD get away with just holding firm but apparently they've increased their bid and that'll do it.

No chance he’s going Brighton.

Secret Scout on Twitter has been all over the Caicedo deal and hasn’t mentioned it.

Would be a massive downgrade for Brighton aswell, they’ll have someone else lined up.

I am in Friesland.   While swimming in lake surrounded by silver birches in the evening sunlight, I multi-tasked by standing by.

It seems that Cambiasso has generally been itk.   This is perhaps probably more than likely, particularly if it happens.  Maybe.
