Knew they’d get him on !

Are they doing more endless interviews or actually getting on with the show this week ?

They went to an ad break, now starting the 2nd match, Southampton v Norwich

Not perfect but a lot better than last week

Daniel Farke and David Wagner are the same person as far as I’m concerned

No.

Wagner is minor villain in Indiana Jones film.

Farke substitute teacher sacked after sex scandal.

Klopp holiday rep surprisingly implicated in disappearance of teenage girl in Tenerife.

It's a terrible show, worse than the 90s Central TV coverage. Even when we get coverage on Sky we get the "expert" analysis of Lee Hendrie. The Sky Sports predictor thingy features David Prutton. Everything about this division is below second rate. Just need a Championship column in the paper from Marco Gabbiadini or Guy Whittingham and the line up is complete.

Just seen the Saints vs Norwich game. Madness and some shocking defending.

But the penalty for Southampton in the last seconds was ridiculous. Walker-Peters just falls over lol

What a plonka. Everytime he stated that we were a set piece team eventhough we hadn't scored from one for most of the season. In fact, I think we were statistically one of the worst but he was never picked up on it by the co-commentators. Lazy commentary. Hopefully not still around.

I'm really not sure what people want from this programme? ITV pay peanuts for it, it doesn't get many viewers in the grand scheme of things and means their investment into it is always going to be limited.

It's also competing for the (thankfully) plethora of highlights readily available on both the EFL/Sky Sports/Club YouTube channels.

It's a pretty basic round-up of what's going on alongside a main game. They've dropped the rubbish generalised punditry from last year, they've listened to feedback seemingly by reducing the interview faff they had in the first week. It's games, goals, a couple of interviews and focus on important things.

At the very best if people are desperate for punditry then incorporate some of the personalities from specialist podcasts who really do have expertise in the Football League. Otherwise, asking an ex-player to sit in a studio and offer incisive analysis about 2 minute goals packages for up to 36 games is a bit of a stretch.

Kept switching over and all I saw was Tom Brady being interviewed and adverts. Watched the goal on my tablet instead!

Got sacked by Sky in 2017 so we won't be hearing from him.

That was so tiresome in previous seasons. Quite clear that format was so boring. And it was nowhere near any kind of incisive analysis either at the best of times. It was a replay of a goal (already replayed in the highlights package) and barely anything else. Not the pundits fault either.

Extended highlights now up on YouTube:

Had a look through the 'udders forum and noted they were aggrieved about an incident at the final whistle with Choudhury and one of theirs, saying Hamza should see retrospective punishment... I didn't notice it at all before. To me it looks like their lad has put a little dig into Hamza as they're competing for a dropping ball and then he lands/stands on Hamza, who then kicks up at him and goes at him again as he's on the floor. Abit naughty.

First game Ipswich vs Leeds and the first two anecdotes are Ed Sheeran song puns lol

And they put the goal scorer and time wrong for Ipswich's 2nd in first half stoppage time, stating it was Sinisterra on 74:07 lol

League Two was an absolute shambles, sound totally out of sync with cheering noises well before the goal and then it pretty much packing up late on.
