We might actually need to sell Mads, in which case, with him potentially missing a large portion of the season, he is not able to showcase his talents at this level, hence a lower fee or perhaps no sale at all.

Van Nistelrooy expects to be able to give a date over his number one’s scheduled return next week.

More likely they are trying to avoid surgery which will lead to a long recovery by doing rehab.
