...it is not as if he would be playing with one leg!!!

If you are saying his recovery from the ACL injury and rehab will make it difficult for him to come back, I can understand your hesitation. But the talent that he has will see him brought in at the earliest opportunity, McAteer, and Madivadua were given opportunities, and Braybrooke has too much talent to be sidelined due to age or the belief that Maresca hasn't got the bottle to put his judgment to the test.

by the time he is ready to be introduced into senior football again we will be a premier league team again (all being well) and there is no way regardless of talent he is playing with us in the prem because he would simply be warming the bench and a young player like that needs game time to adjust to mens football and fulfil his potential.

He is going to be back way before we could possibly be promoted

Calm down mate, just jesting. We could all go back and find where we were wrong! I'm sure I've done the same no doubt lol

Maybe it's a lesson for all of us to give players a chance. It's nothing deeper than that!

Sorry. Don't know why but must have been fuming that day, I don't usually respond like that.

I thought yesterday wasn't his best game, miscontrolled then gave away a lot of balls.

Still an absolute boss in midfield for us at this level though.

Player of the season award clean sweep surely if her carries on like this.

won’t get the plaudits he deserves without the goals and assists unfortunately

What a player he is.

He's also good with the ladies?!  Is there nothing this man can't do?

If he can't wink, that'll be funny

I disagree, I can see he's way and above our most crucial signing, others can see it as well, he's absolutely crucial to the teams success so far, he's a machine

He'll get the players award even if he doesn't get the fans vote, like Kante in 2016.

The way he links the play is so important to our game.

Please stay fit Harry.

He's the only player we have no like for like replacement for in the squad. His range of passing could be replicated, but the way he finds space, takes the ball off Mads and turns / passes his way out of danger to break the press...nobody else could do that.

I'm baffled nobody in the EPL took a punt on him. But all the better for us; he'll be key to us next season :fc:

Brilliant replacement for Maddison!..

He's not such a show pony and hasn't got a dodgy hip.

He reminds me more of Kante with his turn of pace from the DM area.

...I think Winks was calling the shots on how he wanted to progress, clubs I suspect enquired but I suspect he had other ideas!!!

Braybrooke when fit will replicate him, he also has the knack of getting better and more influential in the latter part of games.

Yes, he's the player we should have got when we purchased Soumare. Winks and prime tielemens with Maddison as the 10 would have been lovely to see

I often wondered why he was being called up for England and why he was starting for Spurs every week.

Now we know

Always nice to see a midfielder who is intelligent rather than physically imposing, complements the other midfielders who can use their stamina or physicality to influence games.

The real bonus to our season is when braybrooke, alves and doyle carry us over the line.

Is there any news on Alves?

His injury looked horrendous.
