What’s happened to him?  He’s not looked up to it at all this season. 

 

Is the pressure of monga making him crumble? 
 

He doesn’t even run at his man any more, just seems a shell of himself.

He was rubbish in the PL, and needs to play his way back into form after a poor season last year, but unfortunately for him a generational talent has come along and will have his shirt off him soon enough.
 

He’s looked a bit mopey to me this season.

2 or 3 mins before he went off he was clearly getting the hump at being double teamed all night, was waving his arms about and slapping his thigh in frustration. It might be the hair, he's cut it short and lost his footballing powers :D

Daft as it sounds, you can't ignore it when a teenager is taking your place, getting the songs and the names on kids shirts and has now bagged a goal and assist already.

I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being. He hasn't played well but I'm sure he'd benefit from having a centre forward that makes run and create more space for him. Hopefully we get one.

Said this in the Fatawu thread recently, but feel both wingers need that underlapping run that Ndidi and KDH provided previously, so they’re not so easily doubled up on. Marti’s system is working well at the moment, but that’s a huge difference between what worked so well under Enzo and how things are playing out right now.

I thought he put a shift in but was really given the ball in a position to do much, same happened when Monga came on, the first time we got him the ball was for hte second goal, everything is focussed through Abdul

Confidence just got destroyed by Cooper, was just starting to get a little bit back with steady game time under Ruud and then got injured.

 

He will come good this season, too good not to, but he is streaky. As much as Monga is playing better, Mavididi starting and Monga on for the last 20-30 minutes is definitely the best tactic at the moment
