Can God play right wing and is he available for the next couple of weeks? ;)

No, he's still injured.

Also, he turned down a move to Arsenal because he didn't want to play on the wing so I doubt he would now.

It couldn't be a red because of the double jeopardy law.  That's what they said on the radio anyway.

Double Jeopardy is only for “DOGSO”.

Considering that he /it / they / she hasn't been seen ever, I wouldn't bet on it

I dunno.  I'm just saying that on the radio, they said that the guy couldn't be sent off because we had been awarded a penalty and that was double jeopardy.  I'm not saying RL are right or wrong, I honestly don't know.

Am sure he'll learn from this and the club's Psychologist will mention this incident to him/Enzo amd advise him on it.

Don't think it was deliberate; just wrong timing at sheer power.

so the tackle on KDH above the knee for our pen was a yellow then and not a red inconsistency by the ref.

I said everybody including commentators didn't see it, until replays came in..

Refs angle Penalty for taking KdH out,

& decision Spot on.. Better than anyone in the ground and through TV and unless you personally were standing in an advantage point.

it's alway bloody clever after the event..

Poor form from fans IMO.. dumping it on he ref.. WE have had a lot worse, this day didn't come near..

We has a collection lost the game and still with 10 men should of brought it home.

Though I won't take anything from Coventry they applied the pressure that we allowed, and turned sidewards again to make space for each shot, they deserved their day..!!

Accept it, and move on..

He's elected to miss AFCON to play for us, got sent off, and now returns the day before AFCON.

Outstanding.

He's only going to miss a week of games though, right? Ipswich, cup game and Swansea over the course of 8 days?

Thats right, lets pass the buck onto an invisible, undetectable, magical sky wizard. "God is in control " - my arse!!

If you respect people, you respect their faith, even if you don’t agree with it.
Pretty certain his faith is part of his process, and thus played a role in his ending up here playing for us.

Agree not a red card but it was stupid to go flying in like that especially with a ref like that. We were seconds away from going into half time ffs

I suppose the point is, with no VAR, Fatawu gave the ref no choice.

In real time, which is all he had to judge it on, it’s a reckless challenge and a red card.

I agree… don’t blame the ref for that, blame the stupidity of the player

Surely, you mean the mistake of the player…

I wish I could forgive the scamp, but I can't.  Not yet..  He has apologised and we move on and all that but he cost us the game.  And against Coventry no less.  Bloody Cov.  I mean if you;re going to get sent off do it against Rotherham or something.

Anyway, I'm working on it.

The ref was right by not sending him off because he genuinely went for the ball. He got the ball but it was the follow through that won us the penalty. Double jeopardy doesn't apply if the player doesn't attempt to play the ball eg if he pulls the opposing player down.

I cannot lie I've had one of the worst hangovers I've had in years today.  I have resolved never to drink again.  Absolutely rancid.  I'm far too old for hangovers.

78 days alcohol free here. Drop me a message if you want some book recommendations to help 👍 it does make LCFC games more stressful to watch, cause you have to actually deal with your emotions and not drink then away 🤣
