Think tonight is the night where the massive gaps we leave will finally be punished.

agree - any teams watching us play hull knows theri no 7 is the outball to play

Potentially but do we leave those gaps purely because we're playing against teams that employ a low block? Presumably Southampton won't do that

I'm pretty confident, but I have nothing to back that up.

Southampton will open up more that other teams have, so we'll have a chance to get our forwards into the game, but they will feel the same.

I'm inclined to disagree.

I think this will be low scoring impasse and a very tight encounter with neither side giving much away and unlike last year, we won't be so inclined to roll over. capitulate and concede two soft goals at home in the second half to a Che Adams brace, losing the game in the process. Low scoring affair - possibly a draw with the potential to open up in the final fifteen minutes.

Too many pessimists in this thread..

It’s possibly too early for some to be ultra-positive, especially as last season’s car crash of a season is still fresh in the memory.
l would take draw personally.

No one needs to be ultra pos or neg, lets just have a good game and look for a win. Too many people already looking for ways to get upset over nothing.

Fingers crossed :D

I just want to see a good league performance where I feel we're in control, yet to see one yet. Feel like the international beak has not come at an ideal team with Saints and Norwich next :D

I'm braced for pain in the next two with lovely shoots of optimism to come in October.

WTF’s happened to Cannon then? Broken already?

Stress fracture in his back, was signed with injury - We knew about it basically.

Thinking longer term and January cover.

We are about to find out where we really are. They will come out and play.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we will look very good here, let’s see.

Is it ridiculous to think Daka might start this game? I don’t think it’s totally out of the question, personally. I think he gets minutes, we have to integrate him now. The sooner the better.

Cant see it on foxeshub but I recall that if the match is broadcast in the UK it can’t be shown on the hub?
