I think you're wrong. I think he bloody loves our club, he had two amazing spells here which changed him and our club forever. I think beyond his hard exterior lies a normal bloke who would love us to keep chanting his name and give him the ovation of a lifetime which he never got and which he deserves.

 

I'm not backing down on this, he goes down with MON as our greatest ever and if he doesn't get constant love for 90  plus minutes I will be annoyed and so will he.

“When you play away you can hear more the fans supporting. To create the same environment at home, 25,000 people supporting the team altogether, it could be a great environment for us. It would be a plus for us.”

 

 

Easier to play away than at home?
“Good question. We play three games at home, Coventry, Cardiff, and Hull. The final score in two of them, we win. Even against Hull, we lost the game, but the analysis from the game was good. The fans logically they are trying to make an effort. We are grateful about that they are trying to understand. It’s their decision. We can ask them something, but at the end it’s their decision. Sometimes Mads has to keep for 30 seconds if they are man to man, but I don’t care. The good thing is to wait until some opponents jump to Mads.”

 

 

Bristol City?
“First of all, I know their manager was here for a while. He knows the house well. They will prepare in a perfect way and we will do the same. They will all be different games. They will use their weapons to try to hurt us."

“Big legacy in terms of his time here. I know he reached important things so I know with the fans he has an important relationship."

According to this he is.

He's only 17 so very raw but promising.

 

I can't see anything but a home win as you're surely heading back up but we will have a go.

Yeah Yeboah has twin sons who are a bit older.


Not really sure but on this kids Wiki it says he moved over to England with his parents from Italy as a youngster.

It doesn't really matter regardless tbh.

I still think we will give you a decent game but lose narrowly. Quality talks and we can't afford to get anywhere near you.

I'd agree if Bristol Rovers were in the division or people were calling Bristol City (Bristol) in general chat but it's our next game so don't think it's that deep mate.

We've only been impressive in short spells at home this season and always looked vulnerable to the counter. Not sure what these big win predictions are based on. This is going to be very tricky for both teams.

He said similar at Norwich post-match - essentially that our away fans are great and can we please make the same effort at home

Both Vestergaard and Harry Winks picked up their fourth yellow cards of the season at Norwich, and so are now one booking away from a one-match suspension. A caution against Bristol City would see them suspended for the trip to Blackburn next weekend, rather than the Carabao Cup tie against Liverpool in midweek.

Pretty sure it's the cup game. Or at least it definitely used to be. I remember someone using up suspension on a game they were never going to play. Just the luck of the draw/timing.

According to Google, red card suspension applies to all domestic competitions. In 2020 the rules changed for yellow card suspensions, and they're only applicable to the competition they were issued in.

It’s one of those games where if we turn up, the score line could be silly. We all know Nigel’s teams are fairly robust and functional, but…. With the quality thats in our team, this could end up being a cricket score……. We are going to really take someone to the cleaners this season, and it could well be tomorrow.
