Stating the obvious first -- this ain't gonna happen.

 

However, doing the maths.  We are a bit over 1/6 of the season.  21 points from 8 matches.

 

Calculates out to a 120 point season.  Not too shabby.

We'll have the occasional howler like Hull... teams like Millwall or Birmingham will have a lucky day against us.

Got to feel for Preston, breaking Reading's record by 9 points and having to go through the playoffs.

Brilliant.  His reaction a split second after he hits it as well is just wonderful, he knows how close that was to going over or hitting the bar.   Great little snapshot of the drama of footy right there.

another decent game from us, that last pass and the brizzle keeper stopped us from getting more today

 

can really see it all coming together, another good performance from that midfield box to box dynamo Wlifred Ndidi, never thought id say that ever

Fatawu had a decent one too, then again, cant grumble about of them really, KDH passing at times was a bit of a let down, bit slow to release it but it is what it is

Neutrals will look at that and think we needed a penalty to beat Bristol City bit we were ****ing marvellous.

 

Tighter passing in the final 3rd and better finishing and we batter them. I thought we played brilliant football.

 Sat at opposite end of ground so didn’t get a close up of first ten in second half. But looked like we should have had a hatful v

I’ve really enjoyed the last three games. Feel like we are starting to hit our stride and play with confidence.

 

Thought we were fortunate in the first 4 games and the performances were pretty poor, but we are improving rapidly now.

 

Only won by one goal today, but the gap in quality was huge from where I was sitting.

They’re all playing a brand new system and a completely revamped when of playing the game. Don’t you agree it would take some time for adaption? Particularly with half a new squad? What do you expect? From the players and fans out of interest!

Good all round display, missing the final ball at times. Thought Bristol City would’ve given it more of a go attacking wise, but were well organised and put their bodies on the line when needed. Fatawu looks very promising, Ndidi was fantastic today. Mavididi caused problems but was too casual with his finishing today. KDH almost tries too much sometimes, continues to frustrate since Cov on the opening day. We are clearly getting better, and the exciting thing is we’re only 8 games in
