I can’t see us spending £15m on one player with the number of additions we’ll need to make and our iffy finances.

Sassuolo look like they're going down. Berardi obviously the big name there, but Josh Doig as the solution to that LCB role could be a great pickup.

Hamer, Barkley, Jobe Bellingham, not sure about Sensi, but if he was as close as we believe then surely we'll be signing him.

Wouldn't go for Jobe Bellingham, he's a big talent but he would be expensive and he's not ready for top flight football.

If it wasn't for Jude would Jobe be getting any consideration really? Is interest not borne of hope he'll be as good as his brother rather than based on his own merits?

Looked decent anytime I’ve watched Sunderland, not sure he’ll make it but worth a chance if they fancy cashing in. Only 19 aswell, many years to get even better.

He was the best player on the pitch when we played at Stadium of Light.

Part of the reason Jobe went there is because some coaches who worked with at Birmingham—and he's close with—were already there I believe. I don't think he'll move again anytime soon.

I do think he is potentially a very decent player in his own right, regardless of being Jude's brother. He's consciously tried to separate the two of them with the change of name on his shirt too, so certainly not trying to ride the coat tails of his older brother.

I like Jobe Bellingham. In a better side he could develop nicely. He’s got size and stature like his brother, and I thought he had a decent touch too. He’s be great in the high 8 role. I don’t think Sunderland are in any position to haggle, and I do feel he will be on high demand this summer.

The other link that intrigues me is, Hlozek on loan…… probably a completely stupid link, but the lad could be a beast. Big, quick, strong has shown promise of being a good finisher. The kind of coup were capable of pulling off, but do the finances allow such a deal?

Josh could be backup for Justin...

A deputy Doig.

If the new rules are implemented for season 24/25 that were already voted for by 17/20 teams then surely finances for transfers going forward in the new season are not an issue?

disclaimer - just a shite assumption  🤣
